Ask And Embla

After signing the contract that ended the immortal war, the Alpha and beta realms lived in peace...

This was way before the beta gods created the mortals.

During this time, it was the alpha king and queen that created the first two mortals; Ask and Embla. They were the first gods to unknowingly sacrifice their immortality in the creation of new life. Ask and Embla were to be the humans that created the rest of humanity...

...but fate had other plans.

For a long time, Ask and Embla would spend a life of love alone in a realm that solely belonged to them. They were soul mates created for each other and nothing in the cosmos could break their love.

...however,

The accidental death of the alpha queen would cause Embla to gain immortality and inherit her memories. Through the new memories she received, Embla would experience the love the alpha queen shared with her king. And, through these same memories, Embla would fall in love with the alpha king.

Shortly after becoming a god, Embla would leave Ask alone in the mortal realm and use the port to go find the Alpha king. For years, Ask would wander the Mortal realm in search for Embla, however, he could never cross the seas. After relentlessly searching for years, Ask would be sent an invitation from the pure elves.

The pure elves took pity on Ask and show him the truth about his creation and the disappearance of Embla. Ask felt betrayed after learning the truth, and with this truth, he would venture to the alpha realm and kill the god version of himself. He would then gain immortality and the memories to take the place of the alpha king.

Finally, he was reunited with his one true love.

Embla would be the first to realise the change in the alpha king. The king she knew and loved was dead and the one that replaced him could not compare. Over the years, she would slowly fall out of love with him and once again use the port to run away. This time, she would end up in the beta realm where she would have an affair with the beta king and give birth to June.

When Ask learns of this, he would break the cursed contract and begin plotting against the Beta king. After killing his mortal version, Ask would go on to curse the immortal beta king and trap his soul within his body. In doing so, his son- the god version of shade shadows...would suffer the consequences of the binding contract.

After years of imprisonment, Shade would sacrifice his immortality and create a mortal version of himself that appears in the mortal realm. He then uses his magic as an alpha god to bless one of his eyes with the sight of his mortal self. Therefore, everything his mortal would see, he would see too.
