Foresight

          The moment they arrived in the light realm, everything began to feel like a dream but unlike dreams the choices they make would affect their real lives. The pure elves do not interfere with the lives of other beings around the cosmos; however, this would not be their first interference. In fact, this would be a way to correct a mistake they had made the first time they interfered in the lives of another being.

...but more on that later.

The pure elves invited Reina, Shade, the twins and Ymir into the light realm because each of them would play an important role in preventing the end of the worlds.

The light elves foresee the flow of a special type of magic...a type of magic called time. The light elves can see everything that has happened in the past and the events of the present come to them in real-time. The future, however, is only seen as a possibility and the possibilities of the future are infinite. The choices of the past affect the present and the choices made in the present affect the outcome of the future. So, by knowing the possibilities of the future, the pure elves can  choose the future they want by changing the path of the present.

The first time they intervened in the life of another being, the pure elves changed the outcome of what is now the present. However, because of this, the path leading to the future is filled with chaos. In order to right this wrong, the pure elves have intervened again to change the path that the present is now on.

...however, the path they hope to end up on...is just a possibility.

In order to convince the gang to accept the mission they were about to task them; the pure elves would reveal a truth to each of them. The revelation of this truth would come to each of them in the form of a vision. Through these visions, Ymir would learn the truth about his heritage and the origin of the cursed blade he keeps strapped around his waist...

...the cursed blade of his mother.

June saw the truth in the form of a forbidden love story, Reina saw the truth of what her life was worth, Shade saw the truth through one of his eyes and Jade only saw a possibility.

If you pay attention, you will see the truth too.

One other truth that was revealed to them was the truth of the cosmos and the importance of the nine realms. The cycle of life moves from one realm to the other. Past lives and afterlives are just different lives in different realms as different beings. So, whilst frozen in the ice realm, Shade and the twins had a taste of the afterlife that awaits every mortal, an afterlife in the realm of the dead. However, after dying again in the realm of the dead, Shade and Jade were taken to their next afterlife.

After accepting each of their missions, the group of friends...and Ymir, would have to split up and travel into different realms. Ymir alone would go to the fire realm and retrieve his fathers cursed weapon, Reina and the twins were tasked to travel to the realm of the dead and save Mariette Moore and shade was tasked to travel to the mortal realm and cross the sea.

There, he would find the end of life. (Metaphorically speaking)

Before beginning their mission, Ymir, Reina, Shade and the twins were asked to visit the realm of the dark elves. The dark elves are the smartest beings in the cosmos. They have created inventions that could break the rules of the portal loop, cross the seas of the mortal realm and even escape the grip of the undead creatures in the realm of the dead.

...items that would be of great use.
