In every realm of the cosmos there is a port, and every port is just a giant tree with a hollow opening... filled with a trembling rainbow.

In Norse mythology this trembling rainbow is known as the Bifrost

Depending on which realm it is located in, the port appears differently. In the ice realm, the port is a frozen tree, in the fire realm it's a tree on fire and in the mortal realm it's just a normal looking tree. Also, just like normal trees, all the ports have leaves, however, the leaves of a port are quiet special.

It is known that the ice giants use the frozen leaves from their port tree to create their weapons. This is because the leaves on the port tree are the hardest materials in the cosmos. Therefore, the only thing that can destroy something made from the leaves of a port tree, is something else made from the same leaves of the same port tree.

During the years they worked with the dwarves, the dark elves were tasked to make weapons for the gods. Out of all these weapons, 9 separate weapons were made from the leaves of each port tree in the cosmos. These nine weapons were then cursed by the alpha gods and used against the beta gods during the immortal war.

As part of the agreement after the immortal war, the nine cursed weapons were scattered all over the cosmos. Each realm regained the weapon made from its port tree. These weapons were;

1.    The cursed weapon of the ice realm- a frozen sword with a blade covered in leaf like patterns. The sword was cursed with the properties of water. Its true power allowed it to change shape, size, length and state. This blade belonged to the ice queen and now, it belongs to Ymir.

2.    The cursed weapon of the fire realm- the weapon that once belonged to the fire king. This is a sledgehammer made from the burning leaves of the fire port tree. The weapon is too hot for any being other than a fire giant or alpha god to hold. Also it was cursed to bring down the weight of the world upon its opponents. Ymir is currently in the fire realm in search of this weapon.

...but more on that later.

3.    The weapon of the alpha realm- a cursed blade that enslaves the souls of its opponent through a single cut.  It is the weapon of the alpha king.

4.    The weapon of the beta realm- another cursed blade, however, this blade traps the soul of its victims within their own body, so, they are neither dead nor alive. This weapon belongs to the beta king.

5.    The shield of the Chaotic realm- an amulet from the port tree of the chaotic giants. When worn, it serves as a shield against all magic in the cosmos, including the magic of the cursed blades.

6.    The cursed weapon of the light realm- a weapon of spiritual nature that grants its wielder the immediate foresight of battle allowing them to read their opponents next move.

7.    the cursed weapon of the dark realm- a weapon that shapeshifts to the choice of its wielder.

8.    The cursed weapon of the dwarves- a blade that multiplies itself endlessly.

9.    The weapon of the mortals- a weapon of absolute death. Even fatal to immortal  beings. The creation of this weapon was completed after the end of the immortal war. It was created as a sentence to any god that would break the peace contract.

...what contract?

At the end of the immortal war, the alpha and beta king signed a cursed contract. A section of the contract ordered the dispersal of the cursed weapons into every realm and another section stated that if either realm were to break this contract of peace, they would have to give up the one thing they loved the most in the whole cosmos or fall to the blade of absolute death.

...at the time, the thing that the alpha and beta kings loved most in the world were their children.

After this agreement was struck, there was peace. During this peaceful era, The beta gods decided to bring more life into the cosmos, they did this by sacrificing their immortality as gods and creating the humans. A few years after the birth of the mortals, June was born and a few weeks after the birth of June, the Beta king's mortal version was killed.

When his mortal died, the beta king regained his immortality and the memories of his mortal version. Through his mortals memories, the beta king would identify his mortal versions killer as the alpha king. He would also recall memories of a conversation he had with the alpha king as a mortal. The conversation was a threat to the life of the beta king and everyone he loves.

When the Alpha king finally came for the now immortal beta king, they had a battle with the use of their cursed weapons. At the end of the battle, the beta king would come to his knees with his own cursed blade stuck in his heart. The curse of his blade trapped his immortal soul within his body.

The Alpha king would then throw the beta king's lifeless body through the port with his soul forever sleeping within it. The beta king would then end up in the realm of the dead- where his body is eaten by an undead creature. The effects of royal blood take effect and the first cursed survivor wakes up...

...alive.
