Third Person POV

The Scorpion Cafe had its usual morning rush, with people quickly grabbing their coffees and running off to work, a few students sitting down with a donut and chatting before school began. Anyway, it was 7:45. School was going to start in 45 minutes. And a particularly popular quintet of students had decided to meet up for their first day of 10th grade.

Sunny and Starflight were standing, chatting together outside the entrance. Their fingers were intertwined- not for the reason you're thinking. It was because Starflight needed some sort of guide ever since the accident. He was wavering slightly, but Sunny held onto him firmly. Her green eyes glinted with happiness when Starflight laughed.

A white Porsche Mission E pulled up in the car park,  making a 'vroom' sound. A girl dressed in all blue walked out, and the car beeped when she pressed a button. She put her keys in her pocket and looked at the Scorpion Cafe to find Sunny and Starflight standing outside. She ran over to them.

"Sunny, Starflight, hi!" She said, hugging them each, lingering with Starflight a little longer. She gave him a worried look, even though he couldn't see it.

"Hey, Star, how you doing?" She asked with concern as he looked in her direction with an uncomfortable expression. He fidgeted with the zipper of his jacket.

"Hey, Tsunami. I've been doing ok. Just been needing a little help. Y'know how it is." Tsunami nodded, turning to Sunny.

"And you?" She asked, as the girl flipped back her golden ponytail and blinked her green eyes.

"Oh, I've been good. Smolder has  been an amazing dad. But sometimes I miss my real dad." She said, and Tsunami could see the sadness she was hiding. She squeezed Sunny's hand, and the short girl gave her a grateful smile. Tsunami was about to reply when there was an engine turning off, and a figure took of their helmet, revealing blonde hair with green highlights, green eyes and an impeccable fashion taste.

Glory locked her motorbike, put her helmet under her arm and walked over, her skirt swishing and brown boots clacking. Her long ponytail trailed behind her. "Hey guys. How's life been?" She asked in her confident voice.

"Its been good." Tsunami said, and the other two nodded along with her. Glory rolled her eyes and tapped her boot on the concrete.

"Where's Clay?" A scooter zoomed in, and Clay jumped off, quickly turning off the electric scooter.

"Right here! Sorry about that, my scooter got a bit out of control. Everyone looked at the scooter, then at him.

"Yeah, no kidding." Glory said. Sunny giggled and Starflight chuckled. Tsunami gave an amused grin.

"Come on, lets go inside." Sunny said, motioning them to come in, grabbing a table. They all sat down and looked at the menu, deep in thought. A waitress came up to them. Kindle, one of the best employees.

"Hi Sunny, hi Sunny's friends. What can I get you today?" She asked with a warm smile, holding an iPad. Sunny waved at her, about to speak, when Clay jumped in.

"Can I get a chocolate frappecino, a pineapple and orange smoothie, chocolate crossaint, custrad donut, chocolate chip cupcake, and a cinnamon roll?" He asked, looking at the menu. Then he looked at his friends. "What about you guys?"

They burst into laughter. "Oh, Clay." Glory said, shaking her head. "Could I just get a Berry Blast please?" Glory said, giving Kindle an apologetic smile. The girl smiled back and added it to the iPad.

"I'll get a lemonade and cookie." Tsunami said.

"Can I get a banana milkshake and mini crossaint." Sunny said.
