outside of hollyoaks, england

Hope and Josie had decided to stay outside of the house, of which was Norma's, and be backup. The house in question, looked like a council house. Lizzie didn't pay this much mind, knowing it was a cover for whatever Norma was pulling off. A scream pierced the air, Ethan rushed into the garden, Lizzie hot on his tail.

"I'll go find Sienna, you get Lena." Ethan commanded, the heretic rolled her eyes.

"Whatever, good luck getting the girl." Lizzie announced, speeding off in a flash - of which to Ethan who knew nothing of the supernatural just assumed he was seeing things.

Lizzie sped through the corridors, trying to hear Lena, obviously not knowing her scent. Until she heard her girlfriends voice, it was quiet and sweet as opposed to the usual sarcastic or flirty tone. Lizzie knew it was her nonetheless.

"Lena." Lizzie whispered as she arrived upon s doorstep, seeing her girlfriend tied up she immediately got to work untying her. "You okay?"

"Bethie? What are you doing here?" Lena asked, her voice still hoarse from shouting.

"Hey, I'm here, I'm here. I'm always gonna be here." Lizzie commented, "I love you Lena Lomax. Lena Crow. Who cares. I love you."

"Love you too." Lena replied immediately, crashing her lips onto Lizzie's. Their lips molded together perfectly as if they were two halves of a whole coming together. The kiss felt right. Both girls had never felt a feeling from just a kiss before.

"Well, this is rather interesting. Elizabeth Saltzman, coming all the way from Mystic Falls to save my daughter." Norma commented, standing at the doorway as the girls got out if their embrace.

"Uh, hi?" Lizzie asked, scared she was going to be killed on the spot.

"I suppose I could kill you, or I could invite the pair of you for a cup of tea."

Lena and Lizzie found themselves standing awkwardly in Norma's kitchen, Lena stood quietly trying to think of something to say as the heretic attempted to figure out how the crime boss knew her.

"She doesn't even have an air fryer, Bethie." Lena whispered to her girlfriend, who of which rolled her eyes at her girlfriends childish statement - which was true, but it wasn't the time.

"I'm trying to be undercover, I think there's no point in an air fryer. You should see my house in Spain, though." Norma added, both girls giving a look of 'how the fuck did she hear us' before slipping back into the uncomfortable situation.

"What your house in Spain has a billion air fryers? Ste would have a field day there, you'd literally have to drag him out!" Lena stated, her excitement getting the best of her - yet she was confused as to why she was excited. Norma just rolled her eyes, assuming Lena's comment to be sarcasm and not an actual question, which it wasn't sarcasm Lena was currently picturing a mansion with air-fryers all throughout. As if she could read her girlfriends thoughts, Lizzie nudged Lena in her side which prompted the girl to stand up straighter.

"So, Lena, how on earth did you meet a heretic?" Norma asked, turning around and placing the drinks on the table.

"Well, it's a funny story actually, a long one." Lena answered, not wanting to reveal the details to her birth mother, whom of which seemed to know of the supernatural by some miracle? Probably wasn't a miracle!

"Well, we have all day, please." Norma instructed, gesturing for the two girls to sit opposite her. The blondes sat, Lena grabbed her cup of tea not daring to drink it bug just holding it.

"Well it all started when I wanted a pizza."

"A pizza? Why would you text an American number for a pizza?" Norma interjected, then taking a drink from her tea.

"Well, I thought I was texting Peri, my fake twin sisters, new number. My sleep deprived self typed the digits wrong and got an American number." Lena explained, trying to sound posh but failing. Lizzie day beside her, a hand on her girlfriends as she knew how hard and unnatural this conversation must have been. "Anyways, then I just kept texting Lizzie until she fell for me."

"That is not what happened!" Lizzie announced, looking at Lena with complete annoyance.

"Then what did happen?" Norma asked, taking another sip of her tea whilst keeping eye contact on Lizzie, the heretic knew this to be a tactic to get someone to reveal information and it was working.

"Lena annoyed me into liking her, just as a friend, then I suppose somewhere on the way I fell for her." Lizzie answered, quickly feeling for her phone in her pocket as she heard it vibrate. Norma made a gesture as if to let the blonde look at the phone. Lizzie pulled it out, sighing she noticed it was Ethan telling her he got out with Sienna. The girl then texted her sister and Hope to let them know that they got caught by Norma but just to wait outside just in case.

Lena knew something was off supernaturally with her mother, she knew what a heretic was so it was obvious. But, the girl wasn't terrified if anything she was just pissed off about it. But, she happened to know powerful supernatural beings so she would be fine.

Lena walked through the alleyway to the dog, the pub was usually not at all busy at this time but Lena knew she would find someone there. The blonde turned around, assuming she heard something, she heard nothing.

"Hello, pretty." A make voice cooed, she turned to face the person, it was an man in about his fifties with dark hair and some teeth missing. Lena didn't know where Lizzie was, so her heartbeat increased.

"You look like just what I need." The man stated, caging Lena into the wall. The girls heart was practically beating out of her chest, she was face-to-face with rape and yet all her brain could think of was the irony this was the bad thing that would happen to her as her girlfriend was a literal vampire.

"Get off me." Lena commanded, hoping he'd comply. He didn't.

"I said." Lena ripped him off her, launching the man back into the opposing wall, adrenaline running through her veins, "Get off, of me." Lena finished, watching the man bleed from his mouth as his head lolled to the side. "Oh my god." Lena exclaimed, putting her hand to her mouth. Hope walked through the alleyway, trying to find Lena anyways.

"Oh my god? Did you do that?" Hope asked, Lena nodded, tears streaming down her pale cheeks.

"I— he was going to rape me, Hope. What other choice did I have?" Lena asked, Hope nodded, wrapping her friend into a hug.

"It's ok, Lena, we will figure this out."
