Julie POV

My alarm goes off. The sound really pisses me off.
I hit the stop button and go to sleep again.
I wake up again when my phone rings.
"Yes?", I ask and put the phone on speaker.
"Where are you?", Arthur asks me.
"What do you mean?". I lay back down and close my eyes again.
"Uhm we were supposed to meet at the paddock you remember? We agreed on meeting at 11am so we can spend some time together before the race."
"Oh shit what time is it?". I get up and rush to the bathroom.
"It's almost noon. Wait, were you still sleeping before I called you?"
"Sorry"
"Hurry up so we can eat lunch together at least"
"Yeah I know see you", I say and hang up the phone.
I take a quick shower and put some make up on. Todays outfit are just some airforce 1's the ferrari cap some shorts and a red vintage hoodie. I know it's warm outside today so I wear a tank top underneath it. I'm not taking risks.
Quickly I grab my bag and head out to my car. I get inside and drive there as fast as I can. Arriving there I can see a lot of fans standing there. I get outside the car and start walking inside. I show my pass to the guy at the entrace and stat walking towards the ferrari garage. I can't see anyone there so I keep walking until Lando comes my way.
"Julie finally you're here", he says.
"Yeah I know I'm sorry"
"Arthur's already waiting for you. He's somewhere around here. I think I saw him talking to George and Carlos not long ago in front of mercedes."
"Thank you"
I smile at him and turn around to continue my search for Arthur. I meet everyone like literally everyone just not Arthur. Finally I arrived at mercedes. I can't see Arthur anywhere so I walk around a little before writing Arthur a message asking where he is. He replies quickly: 'cafeteria'.
Couldn't even tell me where he is wow. I walk there and get inside.
The cafeteria is a big hall with a lot of tables and chairs. Almost all of them are already taken. I scan the room for Arthur but can't find him. I continue standing in the entrance for a few minutes searching for him before I see someone waving at me.
It's Arthur.
Arthur says: "There you are. How was your night?", he asks me as I approach the table.
"Not very good", I answer.
I haven't slept very well last night. First I wasn't able to fall asleep. I just kept thinking about life in general and had some sad thoughts about the recent breakup with Théo. I really miss him sometimes. He was my boyfriend for the past four years and then he just breaks up with me. It's really hard to accept. A part of me still thinks that he'll come back to me but he won't.
"Why?", Carlos asks. I snap out of my thoughts and look at them.
"Oh couldn't sleep", I say and sit down across George.
I start drifting off again until I hear someone talking to me.
"Oh hi Julie right?". I turn around and see the handsome guy from yesterday standing next to me.
"Yes", I say and give him a slight smile.
The boys haven't noticed yet that I'm talking to someone.
"What are you doing here?", he asks me.
"Oh uhm I'm here to watch the race"
"Okay well I wish you much fun then. See you, hopefully", he gives me a smile back and turns around to leave but I stop him.
"Wait. What's your name?"
"Mario"
We share a moment for a little. You know, these moments where you're just looking at eachother smiling and feeling some kind.
"Who was that?", Arthur asks.
"He was wearing a ferrari shirt so we should probably know him.", Carlos says.
"I think I've seen him before", says George.
"Well Julie can surely tell us who the misterious guy was", Arthur says looking at me curiously.
"As you may have heared his name is Mario and he works for ferrari. I don't know much either", I say and shrug my shoulders.
"And how did he know you?", George asks.
"We bumped into eachother yesterday after the race and we talked for a minute. Nothing special. I think he doesn't even know I'm Pierres sister."
"Interseting", Arthur says.
They continue asking me questions about this guy.
"Okay stop it. I already have a caring and controlling brother I don't need three others."
I stand up and walk away. I just can't listen to them talking about him the whole time.
Wandering through the paddock I bump into Charles.
"Oh hi. You look amazing today", he says.
"Thank you. I thought I should wear your cap today again and be a good emotional support."
I give him a slight smile and he gives me one in return.
"Where's my brother? I though you two were supposed to meet.", he asks.
"I saw him in the cafeteria but they were getting on my nerves so I walked away"
"Is everything okay?"
The question catches me a little offguard. I think I'm okay but I don't really know. Today's one of the worse days where I feel like not talking to anybody and just do nothing. Such days are routine now since he broke up with me. It's getting better and these days are getting less but still.
"Yeah sure", I say.
"Are you sure?", he asks me again looking worried.
"No I'm not", I answer still slightly smiling.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No not really. Maybe later but not now. Not here"
"I understand. Do you maybe want a hug?", he asks and holds his arms out.
"Yes. I would really appreciate it. Thank you"
"No problem. If you need another one just hug me I'll always hug you back"
I laugh a little and we walk through the paddock a little together. He tells me a little about the race later. While talking I notice him getting more nervouse and nervouse every minute.
I see Pierre in the distance and we walk over to him. I give him a big hug.
"Are you ready?", I ask him.
"Sort of. I still feel shit but we'll see"
"Man you're going to be awesome don't think about it too much.", Charles says.
"Yeah probably. Well, I'm sorry but I need to leave. Love you", he says and gives me a hug before leaving.
Before a race he always tells me that he loves me because he's afraid somethings going to happen to him.
Charles also needs to get ready for the race so I walk him to the garage.
He looks around nervously so I give him a long hug.
"No need to be nervouse. You're going to be great don't worry."
"I know but homeraces are always something different"
"Don't think about it too much. And don't put too much pressure on yourself."
"Thank you Julie"
"No problem. Good luck"
He gives me a tight hug again before jogging to his drivers room.
I walk outside again take a seat somewhere and check my phone until the race starts.
