chapter sixteen

Julie POV

I wake up because of Charles. He's walking up and down the hospitalroom nervous. 
"Why are you so nervous?", I ask him.
"Oh uh nothing", he says as he hears me and stops he's just looking at me right now. He's looking at me as if he wants to ask me something.
"What?", I ask smiling.
"Nothing"
"Are you sure?"
"Yes absoluetely", he says and grins at me weirdly.
Charles and I wait for the nurse that's supposed to dismiss me. She arrives at about 10am and checks on me. She says everything's fine and I'm allowed to leave.
She runs a few more tests before telling me goodbye and Charles and I leave. 
On the way outside I facetime Pierre.
"Guess who's out of the hospital", I say.
"Finally. How do you feel?", he asks.
"Still like throwing up but I kept my first meal yesterday evening.", I say proudly.
"Very proud of you Julie. I have to get back to work but I'll call you in the evening alright? So I can check on you again. You know the plan for the rest of the week?"
"What plan?", I ask Pierre.
"Well the four of you will be staying until sunday evening and then fly to France. But only if you're able to fly if not I'll come get you with the car if you want."
"I can also drive her if you want to", Charles says.
"Really? You don't have to Charles", Pierre says.
"I know but I don't mind"
"Okay well, you see you got a lot of options. You can choose.", Pierre says talking to me again.
"Okay thank you"
"No problem. I'm sorry but I have to leave you again. Work, you know. Love you and see you in the evening"
"Love you too bye", I say and hang up.
I put my phone back into my pocket and follow Charles. We walk into the parking lot and I see a big ferrari parked there. It's more of an older model. As we come closer Lando and Carlos get out of the car.
"Congratulations Juliette", Carlos says and hugs me.
"Yeah congrats Julie", Lando says and gives me a hug too afterwards.
They get into the car again and Charles and I get in the back.
"So where are we going now?", I ask.
"So the plan is that we go to our hotel now and let you unpack your things quickly and afterwards we wanted to see some of Austria and everything. But we can also do this tomorrow if you're not fit enough. We're okay with that. It's only friday so we still have plenty of time left for funny activitys."
"Can we maybe do a spa day today? And do these things tomorrow?", I ask.
"Of course we can", Charles says.
"Well decisions made then. Spa day it is", Lando says.

Charles POV

"God these massages feel amazing", Lando says.
We're in the spa and right now getting massages. We already went to the sauna and did an ice bath.
"Amazing", Carlos adds.
"This was a brilliant idea Julie", says Lando.
I'm just laying there enjoying it. 
I'm almost asleep when I feel the women stop. I look up and see Carlos, Lando and Julie standing there with their towels wrapped around them all looking at me.
"What?", I ask.
"Get up we want to go to the rain showers. They have cool lights", Julie says and starts walking towards the door.
"Wait!", I say and wrap the towel around me as I'm running behind them.
We arrive in a more darker area. The lights are very dark but still shine. Some of them are green and feel like you're in the jungle and others are white feel like your in a warm snow storm. 
Carlos, Lando and I want to carry on after fifteen minutes but Julie wants to stay here. 
We agree on meeting in front of the ice bath and do this together as a proper finish.
We search a free sauna and sit inside. 
"So Charles tell us about you and Julie", Carlos says.
"I-, I don't know what you mean", I say.
"Oh please everyone can see it Charles. I may speak english with an accent but I'm not stupid. I can see the tension between you two"
"Everyone can. Even Pierre already asked me if there's something going on between the two of you.", Lando says.
"He did?", I ask.
"Yes"
"And was he mad?"
"No he was more like a little disappointed because I said no. He said that it would be okay since you two are very good for eachother and Julie has been feeling much better with you around. He doesn't want to talk to you about it though because she's his sister you know. But he did tell me: "Tell Charles he should already make a move.", oh and he knows that you two kissed.", Lando says.
Carlos eyes widen and he looks at me.
"He did what?", he asks almost shouting.
"Calm down alright. How does he know?", I ask and Lando nods.
"So you and Julie did kiss", Carlos says almost shouting again.
"Calm the fuck down alright. Not everyone needs to know", I say and he starts smirking.
"He saw you two in the kitchen as you kissedHe just went to sleep and acted as if nothing happend. He knows you wouldn't hurt her the way Théo hurt her.", Lando says.
I look at him for a little longer before I start grinning a little.
"Charlie here has a crush", Carlos says excited.
"Okay maybe I do. A little."
"We all know Charles", Lando says and we laugh.
"So tell us, did she already tell you that she likes you too?", Lando asks.
"How do you know?", I ask him.
"Please I know Julie very well. She's to honest to keep it a secret from you.", he says.
"Yes she did last night. She told me that "As much as she want's me I'm to good for her"."
"And what did you say?", Carlos asks.
"Nothing"
"NOTHING?", Lando shouts.
"Be quiet okay. No I didn't say anything. I was too chicken to tell her my feelings too"
"Mate you're such an idiot", Carlos says.
"I know okay, I know"
It's silent for a moment.
"You have to tell her. She needs to hear the truth", Lando says.
"I will don't worry"
A knock at the door. It's Julie.
"Come on let's go to the ice bath", she says and starts walking there. Lando and Carlos look at me before walking out. 
I feel bad that I didn't tell her. She probably thinks I don't share these feelings with her. 
We stop walking in front of the bath and all take off our towels.
"So who's going in first?", Lando asks.
"Me", Julie says.
"Have you ever done a ice bath before?", I ask her.
"Nope", she says and smiles. She gets inside with her foot and turns around and looks at us a little shocked about how cold it is. We laugh and she turns around again and steps inside. She's now in up to her waist. 
"It's fucking cold"
"Yeah that's why it's called a ice bath", Lando says.
"Oh what really?", she asks sarcastically.
She waits for a few moments before going in the water. She starts breathing heavily.
"Get inside come on", she says looking at me.
I climb inside too and we're now both breathing heavily.
"We need to get something. We'll be back shortly", Carlos says and him and Carlos just leave.
Julie and I are alone now. Standing in a tiny ice bath together breathing heavily half naked.
She looks so good in her bikini and her heavy breathing kind of turns me on. I look her up and down before meeting her eyes. We make deep eye contact.
I kiss her.
I lean myself forward a little and kiss her. She seems a little shocked but kisses me back shortly after. The slow kiss turns into a passionate makeout session and I cup her face in my hands and get closer. I stand up and tower over her now a little and continue kissing her.
"Charles we're in a public spa", she says pulling away.
"I know"
"We can't do that here"
"And why not?", I say smirking.
"Because there are lots of people here and they don't want to see us makeing out I think"
"Okay if you don't want to then we don't but that doesn't change the fact that I want to. And I will", I say and she looks at me with a slight smile before blushing.
"Okay we're back. We- oh sorry", Carlos starts as but stops as he sees us. I step back a little and turn around to look at him.
"Should we leave again?", Lando asks. 
I laugh and say: "No don't worry."
"We wanted to go back to the hotel room and wanted to ask if you want to do something with us?", Lando asks.
"Yes sure", Julie says and pushes past me to get out of the bath. She goes out and wraps the towel around herself.
"Do you want to come out too or do you want to stay there all day?", Carlos asks.
I can't get out. She's going to see how excited she made me. Athough it's freezing in here she managed to get me horny. God.
"You two can leave already I have to talk to Carlos for a second", I say and give him an answering look.
"Ohh, yes you two should leave already", Carlos says as he gets what my problem is.
"Okay see you then", Julie says and her an Lando leave the spa.
"For real now? In this cold water?"
"Yes"
"Wow you really really like her then. It's worse than I thought"
"No it's not. Now would you please hand me the towel it's freezing in here"
He hands me the towel and starts laughing as I get out of the bath.
"Don't laugh okay?"
"Sorry", he says trying to contain his laughter but he doesn't really succed with it.
"Suck it up Carlos", I say and look at him serious.
"Okay, okay.", he says and puts his hands up in defense.
I put the towel around myself and we walk out of the spa and o to our hotel rooms.
I get a text from Lando saying: 'Want to go bowling tonight?'
Julie answers: 'Yes!'
Lando: 'Alright. At 7 in the lobby.'
I step inside the shower and afterwards start to get ready.

Julie POV

I can't but think about the little moment Charles and I shared. He was so self-confident. I didn't think he could be like this. Even tough We were in this bath for like ten minutes I'm still feeling hot after the kiss. 
I decide to wear some jeans and a blue vintage hoodie with a beanie. I get my phone and my wallet and walk out of my room.
"Hey Julie"
I jump a little but relax after I see that it's just Charles leaning on to the wall next to my door.
"God you scared me", I say and close the door.
"Sorry I didn't mean to"
"We're you waiting for me?"
"Yes. Couldn't wait to see you again and I wanted some time alone with you before we meet the others in the lobby", he says and smirks at me. I feel my body heat up.
We walk to the elevator and get inside.
"You know I think we should continue what we started this earlier", he says and steps closer. He puts his hands on my waist and pulls me closer. I can feel his hot breath against my face.
He smirks and leans down and kisses me again. 
This time I kiss him back instantly and things heat up again. I wrap my arms around him as he pushes me against the wall. He lifts my hoodie up a little and puts his fingers on my skin. My whole body tingels at his touch.
Suddenly the door opens and we're in the lobby.
I quickly push him off of me and walk out trying to seem confident. My knees are a little weak but I manage to find Lando and Carlos.
"Are you two ready?", Lando says smirking.
"Yes", I say and start walking out.
They both know what went on in that elevator.
We call a taxi and drive to a bowlinghall. The hall is not very big. Lando speaks to the owner really quick and we go to one of the bowling alleys. We all choose our bowling balls and Lando starts. 
He misses all of the pins. Carlos starts laughing loudly at him.
"Well show me how you do it then", Lando says.
"Alright", Carlos says and starts to get ready.
He hits the pins and they all fall down. He turns around and grins at Lando.
"You just got lucky", he says and crosses his arms. Charles and I start laughing now too.

Charles POV

We bowl the whole night and have a lot of fun. Carlos ends up winning and Lando gets last.
Carlos and Lando are arguing about something and I walk up to Julie. Since we're walking behind them I take her hand and smile at her. She smiles back and we walk hand in hand. 
We let go of eachother as we're waiting for the taxi again with Lando and Carlos. In the car sometimes our eyes  meet and we both smile. 
We all say goodnight to eachother in the lobby and then head up to our rooms.
I'm laying on my bed in my shorts when I hear a knock. I open the door and see Julie standing there. She looks me up and down before she cups my face and kisses me. I kiss her back and close the door as I pull her inside. 
We walk over to the bed and lay down. I lay on top of her and keep kissing her. 
She starts taking off her clothes and soon lays there only in her underwear.
I pull away heavy breathing and ask her: "Are you sure?"
"Yes", she says and pulls me close again. We're both out of breath and sweating heavily.
We start to remove the remaining clothes and I sit up for a second and let my eyes look her body up and down. 
"You're beautiful Julie", I say and look up at her face again.
She blushes and says: "You're not so bad yourself"
I smile and kiss her again before we spend the night together.

She's laying in my arms sleeping peacefully. 
I can't help but think about her. 
What are we going to do tomorrow? I mean we had sex with eachother now. We can't just act like that never happend if she doesn't want to be with me. 
I can't act like nothing happend.
Honestly, it would break me if she told me tomorrow that she doesn't want to be with me. Doesn't want to be in a relationsship with me. I've fallen too deep in love with her by now.
I decide to not further think about it and enjoy the moment now.
