Behind walls

chapter seven

Julie POV

"Julie wake up. We're going swimming. We leave int twenty minutes"
"Go away Pierre"
"Aww good morning to you too", he says sarcastically before leaving the room again.
I open my eyes and take a moment to wake up. Immediately last night comes to my mind again. The kiss and my confession about my ex, everything.
I get up and put my bikini on. It's a orange, pretty basic one. I wear some shorts and a white shirt above it and decide to wear a black dickies hat.
I pack my beachbag and then go to the kitchen where I encounter Charles.
"Good morning Charles", I say smiling and take myself a slice of bread and a glass of orange juice.
"Good morning Julie", he says a little tense.
I sit down at the table and start eating breakfast. The silence between me and Charles is a little cringe after last night.
"Come on guys. Let's leave", Pierre shouts from the hallway.
I quickly finish my breakfast before putting on my shoes. 
I walk out of the door and Charles closes up behind me. Pierre already went to get the car so Charles and me wait outside.
"I'm sorry Julie", he suddenly says.
"For what?", I ask.
"For the kiss."
"Don't be. I liked it", I say and give him a smile.
He looks as if he wants to say something but Pierre drives up and he stops himself.
We get inside and drive to the harbour.
There are a lot of fanca yachts. I can see Lando and Luisa standing in front of one. We walk up to them and greet them before getting on to the yacht. It's massive.
"Guys who owns this massive yacht?", I ask.
"Me", Charles says.
"Wow"
They laugh and we drive out onto the sea a little. Charles mixes some drinks and we have a lot of fun. 
"I bet you won't make a backflip down here", Lando says to me.
"Bet."
I get up onto the railing and jump down and do a backflip.
The water feels kind of cold but more refreshing.
"What did you think I did when I went to the most beautiful beaches and jumped down from cliffs", I say as I get up on the boat again.
"No way you did that off a cliff", Lando says.
"Wait let me show you", I say and take out my phone.
I show them a video of me in Koh Samui jumping off a cliff with friends.
"What are you guys looking at?", Charles comes asking.
"A video of her jumping down a cliff in Thailand", Lando says.
Charles comes over too and I show him the video.
"That's so badass", he says.
"Right?", Lando says and starts laughing.
We continue the day swimming and jumping off the boat. 
It's already getting dark when we lay there nex to eachother just enjoying the silence. 
"Should we go back?", Luisa asks.
"Do you want to?", Charles asks.
"God your sunburn is bad Charles", Pierre says starting to laugh.
"What?", Charles says and looks down at himself. He's red like a tomato all over his body.
"I told you to put on sunscreen", I say.
"Does it hurt?", asks Lando.
"No. Well not yet"
"Don't worry I know something that'll help", I say.
Pierre and Lando continue laughing about Charles and Luisa and me continue laying there.
After some time we decide to go home. Charles drives back and we all say goodbye to eachother before heading home.
Before going to sleep I put something on Charles' sunburn so it won't be that bad tomorrow.
"Thank you Julie", he says and smiles at me.
"No problem", I say and smile back at him.
For a moment we continue to just stand there. Just us in our own little world holding eyecontact.
"We should go to sleep", I say and clean up everything.
"Good Night Charles"
