"In memory of Atlas Collin's death, we formed an assembly to remember his friends, family and close people that were important to him."
The announcement through the speakers surrounding the entire school ends, as well with everyone's phones having the one familiar notification with them. Every student turns on their phone, and presses the notification, leading to seven files. Each of them leads to a certain person, with their secret. Labeled were;
Harper Kade
Jonathon Thompson
Persephone Anderson
Juliet Chambers
Adelaide Jones
Soleil Alinsky
Gabriel Taylor
Once you click on their names, they lead to what they did that they thought would be hidden forever.
It pained them to keep it to themselves, but now when the whole school knows, it was torture. They knew their secret without having to click on it, they see the student's eyes trail to the seven in the classroom. They all get up, with their belongings and enter a storage room. In silence, they all look at one another holding their phones.
"It was Atlas." Persephone whispers, "No it wasn't." Soleil says, quickly defending him. Harper rolls his eyes, "You're his friend. Clearly you're defending him."
"Atlas has nothing to do with this."
"Who else knew us, other than that day in detention, we had no one else but the people in this group. Why isn't Atlas's name on this? Why did Atlas die?"
"There's so many questions." Adelaide says.
"Look, I'm confused too. I'm worried, but we'll figure this out, no matter what." Persephone whispers to Adelaide, taking ahold of her hand. Adelaide gently smiles at her.
Gabriel looks at Soleil, seeing their hands shaking. He sighs, sitting next to them. He lets their head rest on his shoulder, as he takes their hand and attempts to comfort them as best as he can, whispering reassuring words to them.
"Jonathon? What're you thinking?"
"What are we gonna do? We can't just sit here and do nothing."
Before anyone could say a thing, the principal opens the door, revealing a cop next to them.
