Suggested Music: Zico - I am you You are me
Jarek managed to escape the cars following us since we changed appearances. He even changed the color of his Aston Martin. They could have caught us by now if it wasn't for the new VPN chip that overrode the POC chip. We entered an abandoned mall that was on the edge of the Dome.
He pulled up to a stairway before unfastening my seat belt. "Go through those doors now." I looked at him concerned, but he just gave me a reassuring smile. "I'll be fine. You need to go now." Jarek kissed my hand before I ran out of the car to the door. The moment I passed through the gates and froze when I felt an electrical current rush through me before my bionic chips reset my entire being.
When my vision was restored, I saw that I was surrounded by people pointing blasters at me. I looked down and saw that my Style bionic chip had shut down and slowed my true self.
"Put the blasters down. That's Alora Lux."
I looked around until a beautiful purple skin girl came forth. She had sparkling golden yellow eyes and her blue hair tied back into a low bun. After examining the lovely soul that stood before me, I realized she was an alien. "Holy shit, you are gorgeous." The words escaped my lips before I realized I was thinking out loud.
She just giggled at me as she smiled big. "That's very kind of you, Alora. Word has it you finally ran away from your creator." I blinked at her words before processing she meant I ran from Terrance. "Jarek brought me here." I said while she came over and took my hand. "I'm glad he was about to complete his mission. He will come back to us soon. For now, our leader would like to meet you." I nodded my head as I watched everyone whispering at everyone.
This beautiful alien escorted me down a barely lit hallway with hanging shredded curtains. I tried adjusting my visit to night mode so I could see a bit better. "By the way, what is your name?" I asked as curiosity took over my mind. "They call me Rhea on this planet." I smiled after learning her name and could tell she was a good person just by how she carried herself.
She pulled back a long curtain as I closed my eyes to re-adjust. Before us was Jarek on the right, some annoyed-looking red hair on the left, and standing in the middle, an older version of myself, it took me a moment as I looked over the black-haired woman with the kindest jade green eyes I hadn't seen since I was ten.
"MOM!!!!"
I screamed at the top of my lungs and ran straight into her arms. We held each other tightly as I started to cry. All of these years, I thought Terrance had killed my mother. Yet, she was standing here in my arms. Hearing her heartbeat gave me so much comfort that I forgot we were in the Rebel base, and she was their leader.
My mother petted my head and rubbed my back to help calm me down. "I am so glad we reunited, and I will explain everything." I pulled away from her as my Defense chip activated. Something felt a bit off, and it scared me a little. "I am your mother, Alora. This is true, but I must remove a chip from you before we talk."
I pulled away as she confirmed my fear. "I told you she wouldn't understand. Should have knocked her out in the car." The redhead spoke, making my mother look her way. "You can leave now. Your opinions aren't welcome here at the moment." The redhead looked hurt but listened to my mother whilst glaring at me. "Please excuse Marla. She thinks us helping you escape to join us is a bad idea."
I raised an eyebrow at my mom before Rhea stole my attention. "We have to take out your POC chip, Alora. The VPN Hack chip can only block it. They can break the VPN and find you if they try hard enough." She said concern but was the only one making sense.
