During the past two weeks, Terrance managed to move on fairly quickly and remarry. This time he was married to the Earth's best female General, Donna Haze. Together they had managed to create bionic super soldiers. With the new soldiers, they announced to attack and take over Jupiter for Earth finally. The last time Earth tried that was Japan and Egypt raced to be the first people to colonize Jupiter.
It failed since there was already life on Jupiter. They adopted both countries' traditions, architecture, and cultures but would not conform to Earth's ways. They had their own traditions and religions, so they fought against Earth colonizers. They weren't wrong because Earth just walked in like Pilgrims on Native Americans.
I was sitting in the media room with everyone, just eating popcorn like this was all a movie. "We're going to have to stop him." My mother said as Rhea nodded. "I can't believe Earth really wants to throw away the treaty we have between them and Jupiter," Rhea said sadly as she looked down.
"It's because Terrance secretly has the leader of Earth by the balls since he invented and owns all Bionics."
Everyone looked at me as Rosaline, sitting beside me, leaned on me. "She's not wrong. He a dick-for-brains man that power-hungry." Rosaline added on top of my comment. I looked over at Rhea and smiled warmly. "I rather kill him before I allow him to take over your home." I said, making Rhea cheer up.
"Okay, you two getting along is a bit creepy." Devon said, and his left eye looked like it wanted to twitch. "I agree with Devon. This is weird." Rosaline smirked and waved flirtatiously at Jarek.
I pushed her off the couch, making Jarek choke back a laugh. "Jarek? Were you and Rosaline ever a thing for real?" Rhea asked as if reading my mind. Jarek looked at Rhea with an annoy expression. "No, she was using me as arm candy. Which made it easier to protect her."
Rosaline pouted as she stood up and dusted herself off. "Now that's just hurtful, Jarek. Did you forget that night in the Sorority house?" Jarek looked confused, and Rosaline smiled. "Did we all forget Jarek moved on and is with me now?"
My mother laughed this time before coming over to pet my head. "For now, let's do our rounds and check supplies. We will be arriving in a day now and need to know what to offer." Mom ordered everyone and reminded them of the ETA before we landed.
"Alora."
I looked up to see Rhea come over and offer her hand. "Want to work together on counting medical inventory?" I smiled and took her hand before we went off to do the medical inventory check. I was double-checking the chipboard when I noticed Rhea spacing out. "Rhea, are you okay?"
She snapped out of it and looked over at me. "Did I ever tell you about my family?" I tilted my head, confused as to why she wanted to bring up her family. "Your father promised my grandfather the power of biometrics by helping heal me. I actually had what humans call cancer." Rhea confessed, leaving me stunned by this information.
"So he took me with him back to earth. He told me about you and how we play together when we land." Rhea looked down as she spoke about how she came to Earth. "That monster spiked my drink once I was on the ship. When I woke, it was mid-surgery."
Everything she said surprised me and made me hate my sperm donor more. "They gave me the FirstMed bionic as promised but took advantage and started dissecting me." Rhea was starting to cry as she spoke. "When they noticed I was a wake, the doctor called me a whore and punched me unconscious. I was only thirteen."
I pulled Rhea into my arms as she started crying harder. "When I woke again, I was in a medic bay and learned they stole my ability to have children and were planning to use me as a sex slave." Rhea said in tears as I closed my eyes to control my anger.
"He lied to my grandfather, and I don't have the heart to tell him what happened. I only know he will love Brandy for saving me from him."
I knew I had to stay calm and put others for Rhea, but tears rolled down my face. "Rhea, I am so sorry that happened to you." Rhea did her best to pull herself together before looking at me. "You were the bait that convinced my grandfather to give me up. If not a cure from my cancer." I looked down, guilty that I was used to luring her away from her family.
"My grandfather isn't going to like you at all. Just wanted to give you fair warning."
I nodded my head before hugging her one more time. "I will prove myself to him if I have to." She smiled while she pulled away. "I will help because you're my soul sister from Earth." We went back to doing the inventory check when the PA system of the ship chimed.
It meant mealtime, so we marked where we left off before eating. "Hey, Rhea, does Devon know about this?" I asked as she shook her head. "We're not that close yet for him to know." I nodded before we got to the mess hall.
"Then I will stay quiet." Rhea hugged me before we got our food and joined everyone in eating. Jarek, Devon, and Rosaline joined us soon enough, making mealtime more fun.
Soon enough, we had finished and headed to our rooms for the night. Someone knocked on my door, and I rolled my eyes. When I opened the door, I was not surprised that it was Jarek. "Need you're snuggle buddy?" I moved aside so he could come in.
"So now you're giving me back my right to choose, I see."Jarek sighed as he hung his head. He was still in the doghouse with me for forcing me to have medical treatment. Even if he did have a good reason, he still stole my right to choose. I walked over to him and gave him a back hug. "I still love you, but please don't take that from me. Terrance always did that to me."
Jarek turned in my arms to hold me in his embrace. "I am sorry, Alora." He kissed the top of my head as I snuggled into him. "I love you too." He said, making me smile lightly. "I am glad to get me away from him. I'm so much happier."
He chuckled before moving, so he picked me up by my ass. "Well, let me make you feel more loved." I giggled before we filled the rest of the night with hot steamy sex.
God, this man knew what he was doing, and I loved it.
