We all had questions, but King Mir chose to ignore us. Instead, he had all of us follow him to the castles. We traveled in a hover bus, but Rhea and Jarek were in a private car with the King. Devon sat beside me, appearing to be wondering the same thing. I tapped my mother's shoulder since she was sitting in front of us.

"No, Alora, I had no idea Jarek was her brother. I only knew he was sent to save Rhea, but I beat him to it."

My mother answered some of my questions as she rested her eyes. "Yet you knew she was royal too?" Devon asked as he joined me in questioning my mother. "Yes, I knew, but only after I saved Rhea. Jarek informed me when he found us. They were grateful enough to offer to help me fight Terrance and save Alora."

I crawled over the seat beside my mother and snuggled up to her. A soft giggle escapes her before resting her head on mine. "Mama's girl." Devon teased as he sat back down. "Damn right, I am."

Once we arrived at the castle, we all stood outside the hover bus in awe. The golden trim sparkled from the sunlight, making the Arabic-style castle even more beautiful. Jarek came over to me and smiled before taking my hand back. I leaned in closer and blinked as I noticed one of his eyes was golden now. I was starting to wonder whom I was dating.

"I promise to explain later."

Jarek kissed the top of my head before we were all escorted inside the castle. "Tonight, we feast to welcome new allies and the return of princess Minx and Warrior Law." King Mir declared as he took the lead. Rhea was behind the king after taking Devon's hand and dragging him. Jarek offered his free arm to my mother, so he escorted us both behind Rhea. The interior beauty of the castle dumbfounded me more than the exterior.

"My babies are home!"

A fairy-like beauty with long pale blue hair, golden jewelry matching her golden eyes, and a white and gold Moroccan kaftan complimenting her purple skin came running down the hallway. I could see he was a loving mother since she reminded me of my mother. She ran past the king and pulled Rhea into a hug. She broke Rhea from Devon and pulled Jarek from us to hug. "I am so glad you're both home."

I smiled up at my mom, knowing she would do the same to me. Mom just patted my head and returned the smile. "Excuse me." We looked up to see Rhea and Jarek's mother addressing us. "Thank you for saving my babies and bringing them home."

My mother bowed as I smiled at Jarek. "I am thankful for your children helping me save my own." When I felt someone staring and caught the King looking me over, it was as if he was sizing me up. If not trying to figure out where I stood. "Oh, is the one standing beside you your child?"

I bowed to Rhea and Jarek's mother while my mother nodded. "I am glad we both got our babies back." The mothers bonded as they paired up, so Rhea's mom could ask mine a million and one questions. The king came over to me and patted my shoulder. "Stay away from my granddaughter. I know who you really are." He whispered to me while Jarek and Rhea were turned away.

The King glared at me before putting his mask back on and led us to the dining hall. I stood beside Jarek as we entered the hall. He kept trying to hold my hand, but I wouldn't grip it in return. I honestly didn't understand what to feel or think. The only thing I did understand was that I wasn't welcome here.

I refused to make eye contact with anyone and chose to sit by my mother. I was even scared to eat my food for fear of it being poisoned. My mother tried getting me to snap out of it, but it was too late. My Defense Bionetic chip was already activated and checking for anything and everything.
