Ever since I was a little kid I never liked house that were run down. The reason being is because I was scared that they would be haunted and that didn't sit right with me and still doesn't. But as of right now I was walking into one with Grace while we were also waiting for Pete to show up, but believe it I don't want to do this but this is a good thing for me to get closer to Grace to see if she will let anything slip about Pete. As we walked around Grace called out for Pete as he texted her letting us know he was here, I knew he was hiding and I knew where.
"Pete?" Grace called out. I tap her shoulder putting my finger to my lips telling her to be quiet. I pointed to my ear and then to behind the door. Letting her know I could hear him behind the door. She gave a smirk and nodded
"I guess he isn't here Ariella" Grace said walking to the front door
"I guess not" I say following right behind her. As we got closer we both jump out in front of him making him let out a scream. Me and Grace both laugh and gave each other a high five
"How did you know I was there?" Pete asked us stepping out from behind the door
"Ariella has every good hearing" Grace said.
"Does she now!" Pete said looking at me with a smirk. THANKS GRACE "Now, why are we even here?"
"To find out who the baby was! Come on" Grace said walking closer to the couch where I could hear two people hiding. Pete followed beside her. Both of them screamed when Zaydaya and Earl jumped from behind the couch
"See, not so fun being scared is it?" Pete said mocking Grace but Grace just ignored him and turned towards me
"Did you know they were there?" She asked me
I shrugged my shoulders giving off a little chuckle "Maybe" I said walking up next to them
"They didn't scare you?" Pete asked me
"I don't get scared" I said crossing my arms
"Never?" Earl asked me sounding like he didn't believe me
"Never" I say rolling my eyes
"Well, how come?" Pete asked and now I could see it he was trying to get some information about me that Hester didn't already know which I have a feeling she already told
"Well that's because-" Zaydaya and Grace say together but stop just to start talking once more "You see she" But stopped to look at each other
"Ignore them. I have seen things to the point where I just don't get scared is all" I explained but he just nodded his head
"Anyway, what are you two doing here?" Grace asked them
"Scooping the place out, spooky right?" Zaydaya said with a grin
"This is where your going to have the haunted house?" I asked her
"That's right" She says "And it's going to be-" Zaydaya began to say but I cut here off
"Hello Denise" I say turning around to see the cop enter the room
"How did you know it was me?" She asked me
"I heard you" I told her
