"holy shit, you look so cute." ariana mumbled as she hovered above the twins with her phone. she currently had them laid in aurora's crib that was all dolled up, preparing for a picture.it had been three months since ariana had given birth to the twins, and she couldn't hide them anymore. we already went through hell and back hiding her when she was actually pregnant and it was even harder hiding two literal human beings.
plus, ariana just wants to be able to show them off. honestly, i do too. my babies are adorable.
ariana squealed and bounced on her feet. "y/n, come look at them! oh my god, so cute!" she gasped as she called me over. i pushed myself off of the rocking chair in the corner of the nursery that the twins were literally never in.
since they were still so little, they had cribs in our room just in case of any late night emergency's. it really sucks because their crying leaves us up at night, but i'd rather be sleep deprived then have something bad happen to them.
i walked over and wrapped my arms around ariana, propping my chin on the top of her head. i smiled down at jay and aurora who were both cheesing at us.
ariana held her phone up to me and rested the back of her head on my shoulder. "do you like this one? i like how they're looking at each other, it's so cute."
"i like it. lil man's got a double chin, though." i giggled and pointed at jay's chin in the photo. "you gonna post that one?"
ariana nodded and looked up at me with a smile. i leaned down and kissed her on the nose, making her scrunch it up. she stood on her toes and kissed my lips in response before lowering again.
aurora cooed and we both looked down at the same time. she stared up at us with a gummy smile and let out a little giggle. i pressed a kiss to ariana's shoulder before pulling away and approaching the crib, picking aurora up in my arms.
"hi sunshine! you are very smiley today, unlike your brother." i glanced down at jay and saw him with a mug on his face. ariana giggled and brushed her fingertip over his cheek.
i repeatedly kissed aurora's forehead before laying her back in the crib. "take a nap, you guys look like shit." ariana huffed and slapped me on the back of the head, making me laugh.
i grabbed jay and plopped him in his own crib so they could nap peacefully before turning back to ariana. i smiled at her before wrapping my arms around her waist and hoisting her up, throwing her over my shoulder.
she squealed cutely and hung her arms as i carried her out of the twin's room and to our own. i flopped her down on the bed before climbing on top of her and laying down.
ariana let out a groan as she wrapped her arms around me and kissed the top of my head. "i'm living with three babies," she whispered with a small laugh.
"i'm your favorite, right?" i mumbled against her neck. "mm, no." ariana replied.
i smiled and looked up at her, noticing that she was smiling herself. i pulled myself up and propped my head on my hand, slightly hovering over her.
"i love you," she whispered as she trailed a finger down the bridge of my nose. "i wish the wedding was tomorrow!" she whined and rolled around dramatically before shoving her face in the place where my neck and shoulder meet.
i chuckled and twisted one of her loose curls with my finger. "i know, baby. with those two on our hands, the time until the day will fly by."
since we wanted to have the twins at the wedding, we decided to make the date at the end of the year next year, when the twins would be one and a few months old. having tiny little babies at a wedding was just a recipe for disaster.
