I still can't help but think of the nightmare I had last night.
Why does he keep appearing in my dreams?
What if it's real?
I kept thinking about the nightmare that I forgot about the exam.
Fuck.
"The exams are today!" I exclaimed,sitting on my seat in the classroom.
"Pfft,don't tell me you forgot,Y/n?!" R/N said as she laughed.
"Oh,you.Shut up. I did not forget." I said as I glared at R/n.
"Yeah,yeah." R/n said as she rolled her eyes.
"You don't believe me,do you?How could you not trust your best friend.My heart..." I said dramatically.
We both stared at each other before laughing.
"Anyway,are you confident that you'll do well,r/n?" I asked.
" I'm I guess?" R/N replied.
" well I'm not," I replied.
"Y/n"
I hummed as I turned.
"Oh,scara.What do you need?" I replied trying to sound normal.
"I would like to talk to you for a minute." Scaramouche replied.
I nodded as we walked outside the classroom to talk.
"Y/n.Let's hang out during the holidays." Scaramouche said.
Is he asking me out?

I am not mentally prepared for this.

"Sure,I would love to hang out with you," I said.
Why do I sound like this tf.
"Okay,I'll text you later." Scaramouche replied.
I nodded as Scaramouche walked pass me,into the classroom.
I quickly covered my face which was red as fuck.
"My crush just asked me out..." I mumbled.
I then shook my head and slapped both side of my cheeks to stop blushing.
I then walked into the classroom,still flustered about what happened.
I quickly sat down.
"Ah,I wish the exams would just be over already." I mumbled before laying my head onto my table.

~Timskip~
"I will be giving the papers down now." The teacher said.
I'm so nervous..
Before I knew it,the exam had started.
I sighed as I grabbed my pen and started writing as quick as I can.

~Timskip~
~Gym class~
"Hey,Y/N!Was the exam hard for you?" R/N asked.
"Hm?not really!" I exclaimed
"I found it hard though.." R/N sulked as I patted her back.

Soon,Gym class started and we had to fun a few runs around the track.

"Huff..I'm so tired..." I panted.
Scaramouche who was beside me smirked.
"Oh?Tired already huh,Y/n?"
"Huh.."I mumbled as I looked up to his Indigo eyes which pierced into my soul.
Damn,this man is damn attractive up close but is he challenging me.
I smirked and chuckled.
"Are you challenging me?" I asked as I frowned slightly.
"Maybe I am."
"Hah,Allow me to weaken that ego of yours.Whoever reaches the finishing line wins." I huffed.
"Sounds boring.The winner will have to admit defeat on their knees." Scaramouche said.
"Game on,Scara!" I exclaimed as we dashed forward.
I don't necessarily like to compete with others,but if the other person is asking for a competition,I can't bring myself to say no.
You're going down,Scara.
I was about to reach the finishing line,until someone in front fell and it was too late and I had tripped.
"Ugh..."I groaned.
"Y/n!" Scaramouche shouted,his face showing that he was worried.
"I'm..o-okay..It just hurts..a bit." I groaned as I hissed in pain.
"Your knee,it's bleeding."
I hissed in pain, "ow..bring me to the nurse..thank you.." I said before closing my eyes.
"Scaramouche!What happend to y/n?" Kazuha asked.
"None of your business." Scaramouche replied as he shot a glare at Kazuha.
"Let me help you bring Y/n to the nurse.Just this once.She is my childhood friend after all." Kazuha said.
"...Fine." Scaramouche decided as he rolled his eyes.

Scaramouche's pov:
Tch.
If only if I warned her maybe she could've acted and avoid tripping.
It's all my fault.
"Scara..?"
My eyes widened at the familiar voice.
Without saying anything,I grabbed her hand.
"For goodness sake,you worried me like crazy.Do you know that,Y/n?" I asked as I glared at her.
I quickly realise what I was doing and I pulled my hand away.
The softness of her hand..maybe I shouldn't have let go.
Y/n then shot me a warm and sincere smile and said, "I'm sorry,Scaramouche.I didn't mean to worry you.But don't worry,I'll beat you next time."
My eyes widened and I felt my cheeks heating up.
I quickly look away and rolled my eyes.
"Whatever."
Little did Y/n know, a small smile craved onto my lips.

~Later~
"Waaaahh!Y/nnnnnn!I'm so gwad you're okwayyy!Waaaahhhh!" R/N sobbed as she hugged me tightly.
"Uh..ah..sorry r/n." I said with a genuine smile.
R/N sniffed and smiled.
"I'm glad you're okay,y/n"
"Knock knock!"
I hummed in reply.
"Come in," I said.
As the door opened,it revealed Kazuha.
"Ah,Kazu!What brings you here?" I asked.
"I wanted to check in you,after what happened.." Kazuha said.
"Huh?" I asked.
"Ah,you must've forgotten.My apologies. After you had tripped,you tried to get up but your legs gave up and you fainted.That's what Kunikuzushi told me." Kazuha informed.
"Hm? Kunikuzushi?Who's that?" I asked.
"It's..Scaramouche's name." Kazuha replied.
"Oh!That's his last name?!I didn't know that!" I exclaimed.
Kazuha nodded and smiled.
"I'm glad you're okay,Y/n." Kazuha said.
"Mhm,I'm sorry if I worried you though. Kazu." I said.
"No worries.It's not your fault." Kazuha said.
Wah!what a gentleman.
But...Scaramouche is better.

~Timeskip(again)~
"It's getting late,Bye y/n! See you tomorrow!" R/N exclaimed as she waved at me,which I did the same.
"Farewell,Y/n." Kazuha said as he waved.
"Bye,Kazu!" I exclaimed as I waved back.
"Sigh,I guess I'm walking back home alone huh." I said.
"And who said you will be doing that?"
"Huh?" I asked as I turned my body around.
"Ah,Scara!" I exclaimed.
"Hey."
"Let's walk home together."
I blushed but nodded.

"Say..Scara.I didn't know your last name was Kunikuzushi it's a really cool name,!" I exclaimed.
Scaramouche glared and scoffed.
"That name was the name my mother gave to me.Don't you ever call me by that name and speak of that name in my presence."
"Noted..." I mumbled as I looked down.

"Bye,Scara." I said with a smile as I waved at him.
Surprisingly,Scaramouche did the same.
Which made me blush slightly,but I shook it off as I walked inside.
