A SAD SIGH ESCAPED MY LIPS.
"I heard from Mr.Heizou.Why didn't you tell me sooner?" I asked as I looked at m/n.
M/N sighed, "I'm sorry y/n. I just didn't know how to tell you.I wanted to wait till the time was right." M/N said.
"It's okay mom." I said as I smiled softly.
"Y/n..sweetie.." M/n muttered as she walked up to me.
My eyes widened at the sudden embrace.
I chuckled softly as I smiled.
"It must really be hard for you,I'm so sorry.." M/n sobbed as he hugged me tighter.
"It's really okay mom.I have accepted that he has passed on. I am not so upset because of his death,so please don't apologize." I reassured m/n.
"You're so strong,y/n." M/n laughed as she smiled.
"You'll have to skip school tomorrow though." M/n added as she sighed.
"Hehe,that's okay.School sucks anyway."
"Please don't take it as a day to skip school."
"I won't."
M/n rolled her eyes before laughing.
~ THE NEXT DAY ~
"Good morning sweetie." A familiar,sweet voice said.
The curtains opened,making me squint my eyes.
"Ugh..so bright.." I groaned as I got up.
"Don't be lazy now,get up it's an important day after all." M/n said a chuckle.
"Yeah,yeah." I replied as I pushed the blanket and got onto my feet.
Ah,today is the day huh.
"Breakfast is on the table," M/n added.
I nodded as I rushed down the stairs,and walked to the dining table and sat down.
"Mhm!Pancakes are the best~" I said as I placed a hand on my cheek.
~TIMESKIP~
"Y/n,sweetie?Are you ready?" M/n asked.
I let out a sigh, "yes,mom." I said.
I wore a simple black dress that covered my knees.
"I will be driving today,I don't want us to be late." M/n said.
I nodded as M/n opened the door.
After we both left the house,M/n opened the doors of the car.
I quickly got in and sat down,M/n helping me close the door.

~TIMESKIP~
"Oh,y/n!You're here!"
"Huh?" I asked as I faced the woman who was walking up towards me.
"Ah!Mrs.Kaedehara!" I exclaimed.
"I'm glad you're here y/n. I'm sure my son is happy that you came to his funeral." Mrs.Kaedehara said with a sad expression.
"Mrs.Kaedehara... don't worry. Just because you can't see your son right now,he could be in this room right now watching over us." I reassured her with a smile.
"You're right,y/n.You have really matured since the last time I saw you,you know?~" Mrs.Kaedehara added.
"Oh is that so.." I mutteredd.
"Anyway,follow me." Mrs.Kaedehara said as she grabbed my hand and pulled me.
"Is this..." I muttered as my eyes widened.
"Yes,this is my son.T-they found him covered with wounds all over.How can someone this cruel do something like this..?" Mrs.Kaedehara sobbed.
"I'm sorry about your loss,Mrs.Kaedehara.It must be really hard for you." I said as I patted her back.
"It must be the same for you,right?After all you both have been friends since day 1... I can't imagine how hard it was for you to accept it,at such a young age too." Mrs.Kaedehara said as her eyes softened.
"That's true,but it's okay.Even though this is really a lot for me to take in,I will continue to smile." I said as I let out a sad sigh.
"That's right.Thank you,y/n."
Mrs.Kaedehara said.
"No worries."
"Then,I will leave you alone.You must want to say some things to my son right?" Mrs.Kaedehara said as she walked away.
"Yeah.." I muttered.
I turned around to face Kazuha.
I gently stroked the glass and smiled.
"You know,Kazuha.. I really miss you.
I don't know what happened that day,but I hope to find out soon.
But I can't help but feel upset that I wasn't there to protect you.
I feel like I failed as a friend— a good friend. Knowing that I let you get into trouble because of my actions,all I feel in regret." I said.
I wonder when will you come back to me.
When will you two come back to me.
"Y/n,dear. Are you alright?" M/n asked as she placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Yeah." I replied.
A worried expression showed on M/n's face.
M/n sighed in defeat, "Sigh,If you say so." M/n said.
"Let's go take a seat,hm?" M/n asked in which I nodded to.

After the funeral ...
"Y/n,it's time to go back home," M/n said.
I nodded as I follow M/n back to the car
"Y/n,are you really alright?" M/n asked.
"I..I'm fine.Please don't worry about me." I said as I faked a smile.
Ah..I wonder how is Scaramouche doing at school.
