I felt a gentle breeze on my skin,caressing my face. It was a beautiful day,not too cold,not too hot. Autumn was beginning to settle in over the trees,and the leaves were turning colours of reds and yellows. I smiled as I looked up. The sign showed the title of the school, "Tevyat High School" I let out a sigh as I walked into the school,soon walking up the stairs and into the classroom.
"Oh,I'm early." I uttered under my breath as I placed my things down. The classroom was empty except for one student who sat at her desk writing something in a notebook in front of me. "Yeah,both me and my brother just moved in so we had to change schools." I SIGHED AS I PLACED my bag down. I quickly grabbed my water bottle and walked out of the class. "Y/n!" "Hm?" "Wanna partner up?" Lumine asked. "Sure!" Lumine quickly walked to my side and smiled. "Oh,by the way this is Aether and Xiao!Aether is my brother,and Xiao is our childhood friend," Lumine said as two boys walked towards us.
"Hello!You must be my sister's friend,I hope she isn't too much trouble!Please continue to be her friend since she doesn't have one right now.." Aether said as she grabbed my hand tightly. "Of course.." I said as I chuckled awkwardly. Scaramouche 'happened' to have seen that interaction between you and Aether. He wasn't quite pleased. Scaramouche glared at the blonde boy as he walked pass Scaramouche. 'Huh?' Aether thought,but didn't pay much mind to it.
~PE CLASS~ We were playing volleyball,and I shouted, "Lumine!Over here!" "Catch!" Lumine shouted as she threw the ball at me,but I managed to catch it and threw it into the hoop. My e/c eyes reached his,and my eyes widened. I blushed as I looked away. "Hey y/n?" Lumine asked. "Yeah?" I replied. "Could we exchanged numbers for a sec?" "Ah,sure." I pulled my phone out from my pocket and showed it to Lumine. "Okay,thank you," "No problem,let's go buy our food now," I said. Lumine nodded and soon I found myself showing her around the school.
~LATER~ "So..that's about it!" I said as I turned to Lumine. "Ah,thank you so much!" Lumine exclaimed. "No need to thank me,haha!" I laughed. "Oh shit." "Huh" "We have 5 minutes." "What." "Yes" "WE HAVE GOT TO GO RIGHT NOW!" I shouted as I grabbed Lumine's hand dragging her all the way to class.
"That..w-was so..tiring.." I said as I fell onto my knees. "Y/n—" "Y/n,get up." Scaramouche said as he held my hand and pulled me up. "Thanks,Scara.." I said with a smile. "Then thank me with a kiss." Scaramouche whispered in my ear. I blushed madly and exclaimed, "What?!" Scaramouche smirked and leaned closer and whispered into my ear again. "After school,meet me at the tree." "Huh?wai—" I said but Scaramouche already walked away to his seat. I sighed as I walked back to my seat and sat down.
~AFTER CLASS~ "Ah..School is over already.." I uttered as I packed my bag. "Bye y/n!See you tomorrow!" Lumine exclaimed as she waved. I nodded as I waved back. I quickly grabbed my bag and made my way outside the school. "At that tree,huh..."
Rumors had said that when a boy would asked a girl to meet him under the big cherry blossom tree,he would confess his feelings for her. Because of that rumour many boys had asked girls to meet him at that tree. So they call it the love tree. But,let's say Scaramouche didn't know that. But that's only half the reason why boys do that. To many people,confessing under what they call the 'love tree', felt more romantic more than confessing in school after classes.
