First Time For Everything...

Ugh school on a Monday morning should be illegal, like really it's quarter to seven and I'm up already, I mean no-one really notices me at school but I still like to look nice for myself. Plus my best friend Alex will be here in 15 mins and she doesn't like to be kept waiting. Unlike me Alex is outgoing and loud all the girls want to be her friend and all the guys love her as well but she's not cocky about it which is odd well I think anyway.

I put on my baggy jumper pull up my black jeans,tie up my laces and head down for breakfast before Alex gets here.

When I get down my two brothers James and Toby are already sitting at the table with my dad and my mum is cooking what smells like pancakes.My brothers are already shouting at each other, at 16 I'm the middle one and currently doing my junior year and expecting it to be good. James is 19 and Toby is 14 so I don't really know why they don't get along so well.

I take my place at the table and dig into pancakes I manage two before I hear a horn honking outside and Alex shouting "GET IN LOSER ITS JUNIOR YEAR" that's why I love her she balances us great me being the quiet one and her being the loud funny one.

I drop my bag in the back and take a seat in the front of her red convertible.

We arrive at school around 5 mins later and she gets out blow kisses me goodbye and says "see ya here after school ok ily" and of she skips.

I go straight to my locker careful not to bump into anyone, I always do this when Alex isn't around. When I finally arrive at my locker I don't see the figure standing at my locker until I look up and see he's right in front of my locker.

"Um h-hi" I say not really used to talking to people other than my close friends, when he sees that I'm trying to get to my locker he moves but starts talking

"Your Mandy right, yeah I've seen you around I'm Ryan by the way" he doesn't give me time to reply but saunters off in that bad boyish way.

I try to ignore him and get out my books great maths my favourite I hurry and not noticing my private book has gone missing.

I sit through maths right at the back trying to listen and ignore the pricks around me,when it finally ends and I go back to my locker that's when I notice its gone, luckily Alex walks round the corner at that very minute and rushes over when she sees something is wrong

"What's wrong hun did someone say something do i need to break there nose"

"No no I say in a flurry but my diary it's gone, and its got the secret in"

Alex and I go way back as friends we've bin friends since birth our mum's were best friends so we kinda had to be. Alex is the only one that knows the secrets that are in this diary and no-one else should see them. When Alex hears this her face turns pale and with it comes an "oh shit" so quiet only I can just hear it.

"Okay okay all we have to do is find out who's got it and politely ask for it back and anyways first time for everything right" she says the last bit trying to lighten the mood but doing so unsuccessfully.
