Oh Not You

Mandy's p.o.v

Alex drives me home that night and says she'll call me later and promises I'll find my diary tomorrow.

I open the door and luckily no one's home so I decide to go up and run a bath.

I start the water and put some music on, about half an hour later everyone else gets home well Toby and James do my parents won't be home till late.

I get out the bath and put on my comfy fluffy pyjamas when I get downstairs James is putting pizzas in the oven and Toby is watching Tele I sit at the kitchen table and start texting Abby.

Alex:hey bae ;)

Me:so stressed

Alex:don't be I'll find it tommorow can u think of anyone that could have it

Me:ummmm

Alex:TELL ME NOW MANDY

Me:uh okay this guy called Reece was at my locker this morning when I got there he introduced himself then walked of

Alex:oh god Mandy he's like the most popular guy in school he won't give it back for nothing but ull has to ask him tomorrow k gtg ily xxx

Ugh no what a great way to start junior year.

I fall asleep quite soon after...

I wake with a start to a ringing of my stupid alarm and my brothers moving around downstairs it feels quite normal until i remember the events of the day before and that just ruins my mood totally.

I get out of bed reluctantly and put on my old baggy tshirt that's just a dark purple the darkest thing i have to match my mood, but then i realise its cold outside so i throw on my navy hoodie.

I trudge down the stairs grab a piece of toast and walk out the door to find Alex already waiting for me.

We chat normally on the way to school but the minute we arrive and Alex gets out the car she puts on her game face and says

"Lets do this shit".

I get out the car and try to keep up with her strangely quick pace but the minute Ryan comes into sight i slow down "dont slow down now were nearly there" thankfully she says it so only i can hear.

When we get to him Alex pushes me forward which forces me to speak.

"U-um i t-think you have my diary from my l-locker"

You can see the sparks show in his eyes telling me that he does indeed have my diary. I look around trying to find Alex but to my dismay see that she's gone but as soon as i look i get a text

Alex:you've got this babe just keep going xx ;-)

That instantly made me feel better i turn back around to face him still hoping in my mind that he doesn't have it.

"Ah little Mandy is there something i can help you with"

"Yes actually i want my diary back"

"Oh this you mean"

And oh my god there it is my diary.

But oh why does it have to be him.
