I wake nice and slowly this time without the feeling that someone watching me.

"good morning"
"why are you awake so early"
"couldn't sleep"
"you should have woken me"
"what and lose the chance of seeing your pretty face without you shouting at me for being perverted"

"i think that's your phone"
"yeah its Alex she got back of her holiday yesterday so she'll want to talk"
"I'll leave you to it then ill be downstairs when your'e ready"
"okay"
he kisses me on the cheek,
"have fun".

"hi Alex how was your'e holiday"
"oh my gosh it was great and when i say great i mean lots and lots of hot guys"
"find anyone you liked"
"yeah he's called Toby, but he's just come out of jail and i didn't meet him on holiday"
"um ok how did you meet then"
"well when we got back yesterday it was like 12, don't kill me for not calling my phone was in my bag and I only just unpacked, anyway there was a family moving in next door so as my parents always do they invited them over and there was this really hot guy who is our age and used to go to our school i think he came in year 7, but he said he went to prison and so to get him away from all of that they moved here, but for being in prison he's actually really sweet"
"ah that's sweet, what's his surname"
"uh its James I think"
"ah cool so are you a thing then"
"well I think he's taking me on a date tonight"

"we'll go out for coffee tomorrow ok and we'll have a good chat"

I need to tell Reece but discreetly,
"hey what's up, how was Alex"
"she was good but I have a question for you that's been bugging me"
"yeah sure shoot"
"what's Toby's surname"
"um James why"
"oh shit"
"what's going on Mandy"
"Alex may or may not be in trouble"
"what is it Mandy"
"he's just moved in next door to Alex and their going on a date tonight"
"no their not"
"Reece please don't spoil this, she'll be fine Toby genuinely seems interested in her"
"okay fine"
"now how about we have a lazy day films and pizza it's already 1 we woke up really late"
"that sounds great but first"

He engulfs me in his arms then slowly surrounds my lips with his own and soon were having s full on make out session on the sofa,

"um Mandy what are you doing"
"i nearly bite my lip in shock i look up to see Emily standing in the door way with her arms full of DVD's"
"uh hi Emily i was just um we were"
I look to Reece for help,
"me and Mandy uh Emily Mandy is my uh Mandy is my girlfriend"
"hee" she squeals "i knew this was going to happen"
she runs to me and throws he arms round me,

"will you watch Disney films with me"
"of course i will."

So instead of having a nice day with Reece we end up with Emily on my lap and me snuggled up to Reece.

At about half 5 Emily is already asleep so I carry her upstairs to her bedroom, she'll probably come back down later, but when I'm back downstairs and right outside the living room, i hear Reece talking to someone and i cant hear the other voice until he puts it on speaker so he can pace,

"look im sorry for what happened mate"
He sounds genuinely sorry.
"YOU KILLED HER ON PURPOSE"
Toby doesn't sound as forgiving,
"look just leave her out of it ok"

"oh no its fine ill have both soon"
who are they talking about,
"im taking her on a date tonight"
oh my gosh their talking about Alex ,
"i swear to god if you do anything to harm her i will kill you myself"
"calm down I'm not going to hurt her but if i do choose to do anything other than murder you must not call the cops"
I'm scared for Reece's answer this is my best friend were talking about,
"or what"

"or that pretty little girlfriend of yours wont be so pretty"
i cant help but gasp and Reece turns around, i get behind the door just in time but he knows i come out and his face goes solemn i sit next to him and cuddle him,

"Reece? Reece? we got a deal?"
He turns to me and i nod my head,

"yeah man we've got a deal"
"well ill see you and your girlfriend who is sitting with you for coffee, i can hear you Mandy try harder next time"

After Reece hangs up the phone he knows im going to have questions so he turns to me with his game face on,
"why were you talking to him"
"he called me and i wanted to see what he had to say i thought he was going to tell me he will leave you out of this"
"oh"
"look you shouldn't be out with me ill get you hurt"
"and you'll be right there to pick me back up again"
"ah your right i will"
"and why does he want Alex"
"well when he first met her he did honestly like her i think but then when they were in her bedroom he saw pictures of you two together and so he put two and two together and guessed, but he is actually taking her on a date tonight"
"and was that him on my windowsill"
"yes"
"oh god"
"Mandy if you see him there again come get me straight away"
"yeah ok"
