His Maid

Chapter 22

I woke with a start in the morning feeling bright and happy, then it all suddenly came rushing back to me like a fully grown bull right to the heart, but I couldn't cry I had to stay strong for mum, I went downstairs to discuss with Charlotte where I was going to be going.

When I got downstairs she just came over and wrapped me in one of her hugs, I've come to know them quite well since I've been here,
"hunnie I'm so sorry I would have come last night but Reece was adamant to let you sleep"
"thankyou but if you want when school starts I will go home, or to my Grandparents"
"what are you talking about no way you're staying here until your mum finds her feet, no arguments got it"
"got it thank you so much Charlotte"
"your mum said she may not be able to get on the flight for nearly a month so your father said he would come back and take you home for a couple of weeks then you can stay with us while he goes to get your mum"
"ok"
"now what shall we eat
"mm I could really do with some bacon right now if you wouldn't mind"

"not a problem love you go do what you need to do have a nice long bath whatever I'll get this ready for you"
"ok but before I go do you know where Reece is"
"no I saw him go out the door this morning but he didn't want to wake you I'm sure he won't be long"
"ok I'll be back down in a bit"

I head upstairs to have a bath, the bathroom here is lush there is a huge bath in one corner in the other is a big shower then a twin sink, it all looks really professional like in the adverts or in shop windows, but this one has a more homely feel to it.
I go to Reece's room and get one of his bigger t-shirts, then get one of the bath bombs of the shelves, I place it in the bath and set the taps off, I get my music and plug that into the speakers I love a good bath it's my time just to forget about everything.

The bath is lush just right, the bath bomb has made it go a lovely pale pink colour; I grab a big fluffy towel and step in the bath, and just relax, my hair is up in a bun so it doesn't get wet, my music is blasting, and everyone is leaving me be for once this whole Easter, I've only got 1 week left and so I need to make the most of it, I need to just leave my mum to get better and I need to focus on my relationship with Alex she was my best friend and I really need her right now, I'm praying that we can get over this before school starts again.

I lay in the bath for a bit longer and just sing along to my music, but once I feel my skin start to wrinkle, I step out and grab my towel, I wrap it round me and put on some moisturiser.
Once I'm all dried of I grab the big pink fluffy dressing gown and the matching slippers, then head downstairs to watch a film.
I get a big bowl of popcorn and put in the first film I pick up, not realising it was from Emily's cupboard until I am watching the little mermaid.

I am about half way through when a hand comes over my shoulder and grabs a handful of popcorn, I nearly break my back turning to see who it was, of course it was him,
"Reece what are you doing"
"I'm hungry I've been out all day"
"yeah where have you been all day"

"you want to come see"

"well the first one is right here"

"he hands me a folder"
"Reece what is this"
"well open it and find out"
I rip it open and find lessons
"Reece what are these for"
"well I thought with you and Alex not being friends anymore I thought you may want a car of your own , so if you want to go somewhere by yourself you can use your car, so I bought you lessons"
"WHAT OH MY GOD YOU'RE THE BEST, but didn't that cost a fortune"
"nah I know people who know more people, you like"

"OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH CAN I SEE"

And sure enough there's a red fiat 500 with a cream interior"
"AHH I LOVE IT, wait you drove this through town"
"I drove the back way"
"oh couldn't handle a sucha small car"

"will you take me out in it tomorrow"
"well your first lesson is tomorrow"

"I didn't go see Toby"
"don't worry I handled that, he can be understanding sometimes, oh and Alex wants to see you"

"no I'm not actually sure what she wants to say but please be nice if you can"
"sure for you now can I go finish the little mermaid of I was really enjoying it"

"I do need someone to cuddle with while watching it don't I"

He puts him arms round my waist and brings me close and then he kisses me, nice and softly while stroking his hands through my hair.
