Chapter 20

"Reece, Reece come on we need to get up"
"uh why"
"because your mum wants us downstairs to help plan your sisters birthday"

He doesn't answer so i drag the quilt from above him and storm out,
"REECE YOU BETTER GET UP SOON OR I'LL BE BACK"
"hmm I'd love that please do"
"Reece i will hurt you if i have to come back"

I head downstairs and go to see Charlotte,
"good morning Charlotte did you have a nice sleep"
"oh yes thank you Mandy, did you"
"yeah thanks"
"where's Reece"
"he won't get up, he's being lazy"

"typical Reece, here take this"
"uh i don't think he'd want a drink"
"no silly pour it over him"

"oh ok"

I take the drink upstairs and as quietly as i can i go round the other side of Reece and pour the glass of water all over his head,
"I'M GOING TO GET YOU MANDY I'LL GIVE YOU A HEAD START BUT U BETTER START RUNNING AND RUN QUICK"
I know he's being serious so i turn on my heel and leg it, but sadly I'm nothing compared to the captain of the football team, he grabs me round the waist and starts to tickle me,
"REECE REECE PLEEEAASSSEEE STOOOPPP"
"what do you say"
"never"
He tickles me harder,
"REECE PLEASE STOP"
"what do you say"
"im s-s-sorry"
He puts me down,
"now that wasn't so hard what was it"

"i will get you back don't think i wont but for now we need to go downstairs and see your mum"

When we get downstairs Charlotte is cooking her best with pancakes bacon maple syrup my favourite, we sit down at the table and tuck in i get some of everything and Charlotte tells us her plan,
"right guys so as you know tomorrow is Emily's birthday so i sent her of a couple of days ago so she would get a birthday surprise, so i have organised with the kiddy place down the road so we get the place to our selves all day tomorrow and today, so you two today you are going to go to the place and organise, decorate and do food"
"yes mum and what exactly will you be doing here"

"i will be making the invitations sending them out and then later picking up the birthday girl"
"oh yeah Charlotte Reece is taking me to my friends house at 4 so i can go to my meeting and Reece is going to drive me then go back and finish of is that ok"
"oh yeah hunnie that's fine just be safe"
"oh yeah i will don't worry"
"ok well you two better be of here are all the supplies"
"REECE go get your car keys and ill get the supplies"
"k bae"

I get the bags of Charlotte say bye then i head out to Reece's car, i shove the bags into the boot and head round to the passenger seat,
"i absolutely hate these places you know"
"well Reece you now get to spend the whole day in one, are you excited"
"no and you leave me at 4 and that's even worse"
"well its 9 now so"
"WHAT IT'S ONLY 9"
"yeah so you get 8 whole hours with me"
"ah is that it"
He goes to kiss me,
"Reece your driving watch the road"
"ah can i have one when we get there"

"hmm ill see"

When we get there it's one of those proper horrible kids places with an indoor climbing frame, food counter and a tiny tiny swimming pool,
"soo this is where get to spend all of today and tomorrow"
"yeah pretty boy"
"ok seeing as you cant cook I'll do the cooking and you can do the decorating cause i cant reach most of the places"
"ok that sounds alright"
"Right so instead of having that pool filled with water, were going to fill it with these"
I give Reece a bag of multi coloured balls the ones that are always in pools but give you bruises when you jump on them,
"right get started"

He goes off and starts to fill the pools with the balls,
"oh and Reece the rest of the decorations are in those bags they are pretty simple to know what to do with"
"got it princess now go cook food im starving"

"this is for tomorrow i think most of it is re heatable i need to cook some stuff for adults, then put kids food into bowls and cover in cling film"
"got anything for today"
"yeah i brought sandwiches crisps and some snacks"
"chuck me something would ya"
I chuck him a packet of crisps and he shuts up finally
