His Maid

Chapter 27

The last time I saw Reece was two nights ago when he told me the story of Hannah, I still don't know what to think of that but I haven't really had time to think about it.

I've not been tied to a chair for these two days but I wish I was at sometimes, thankfully Toby didn't send me to Alex however he did say that because he didn't send me to her I have to do whatever he says when he says it, I thought he was joking I already went through this with Reece but I had a feeling this was going to be worse, and to no surprise I wasn't. Although Toby isn't there half the time because he's with Reece he leaves me a list of chores to do and if I do them he says I can see Reece whether I want to or not.

It comes to 4 and Toby should be back in half an hour I don't know where he's been all day everyday but this is getting so boring, I'm sick of not being allowed out of his 4 rooms yes 4 rooms without an escort, I mean they think I'm going to run away, well not without Reece anyway. I finish making his bed and sit down for the first time of the day if I may say so myself,
"oi you just been sitting down all day I don't give you a list for no reason" I just about jump out of my skin at the sound of Toby's voice I practically spring out of the chair and turn to face him, "I have uh well I've finished and I was uh tired and so I uh thought I would well-"
"so you thought you would sit in my chair in my room without my permission" I roll my eyes at his stupidity, "well I have done quite a lot today" he rolls his eyes at me, "well I can always send you to Alex I'm sure she'll give you a lot to do more than me anyway"  
"Toby please Toby please don't do that I'll do anything" he smirks at me and crosses his arms, "oh so you reckon you'll be ok with me then" I roll my eyes this boy really knows how to push my buttons, "yeah I guess for now" he comes so close to me I can feel is breath on my face, "you have no idea how long for now is love" he turns away from me unlatches the chain from the hoop in the floor and takes it off my ankle I look up at him right now I know I could make a run for it but I hardly know my way around here and I couldn't just leave Reece not after this.

"why are you doing that" I move my ankle about testing how it feels, "well you see love I'm getting bored around here I'm going to give you a grand tour and then you may see Reece if you are good and do everything your told to"

To be honest though I'm not too sure about seeing Reece I'm used to seeing Reece strong and protective and now I don't think I can I could stand seeing him all vulnerable. I don't tell Toby this though if I tell him I don't want to see Reece he'll only make sure I spend more time with him, Toby knows the more he hurts me the more Reece gets hurt. I still don't have any shoes so as we walk around this huge building with cold stone floors my feet are freezing I have to stop every few minutes and pick one up then the other I keep eyeing Toby hoping he'll realise but he doesn't he just keeps dragging me along telling me about this crazy shit hole. "Yeah and so here is where we keep the people who are against us or want to stop us" I still don't understand what Toby means by "us" I bet there some gang or something that's probably why they have all this space and all these rooms. I follow Toby round like a little lost puppy to be honest I'm not actually listening to what he's saying I just want to look out for the nearest door I can tell were heading for Reece's cell I'm going to start a plan if I see a door I can form a plan tell Reece and then maybe he could try and feel a bit better so we can try and escape. Second thing to do on my list is find the nearest phone, if I can find a phone I can call anyone someone who could help us.

We reach a door its bolted extra than the ones around it with 3 locks and a thumb scanner, now this could be a problem how on earth am I going to get Reece out of here if I don't have a thumb that is on the system and there's no way I'm finding anyone in here to help me with that problem they all hate Reece too much for that. Ill figure that out once the rest of my plan falls into place.

He's curled up in a corner looking so vulnerable he's shaking slightly but I think that may be to the cold, he's only wearing his tracksuit bottoms the grey ones that he loves, he doesn't have a top on so all of his chest is showing scars and all. He looks too skinny as if he hasn't eat in days they better be feeding him Toby promised me he would live if only barely. "Toby you promised me you were keeping him alive,"
"I am love does he look dead to you"
"basically, have you been feeding him" he shrugs his shoulders looking bored now "I don't know Alex is in charge down here so I suggest if you want to complain you should go to her" a shiver goes down my spine I will never talk to her ever again not after what she's put me and Reece through just because of her petty jealously. "Toby please can I get him something at least some soup he looks like he's about to waste away" Toby just stands there for a minute looking from me to Reece back to me, he drags me outside and shuts the door. "You really love him don't you?" that question hit me it was so blunt but yet I was still speechless for a minute I had to just think about it even though it took no thinking at all, "Yeah Toby I do I really love Reece" he nods and starts walking away, "where are you going you can't just leave me here" he turns around and smirks at me, "you wanted soup didn't you".

I knew that Toby had a nice bone in him I didn't think he'd do it but he'd left me here with no way of stopping me from escaping except from the fact that Toby knows I will not. I turn back and open the door Reece is still slumped up against the wall he tries to smirk at me but fails miserably, "don't waste your energy". I walk over to him and fall down next to him and sigh loudly I rest my head on his shoulder "I don't know what to do". To my surprise he doesn't sigh just as loud instead I feel him shift I look up at him and see him grinning he kisses my forehead and I look at him sceptically, "don't worry hun I have a plan", I'm about to ask him about it but I'm interrupted by Toby stomping back through the door with a bowl of soup he leaves it on the floor by the door, "you can come get it if you want it" I roll my eyes and glare at him "are you seriously that childish" he grins back at me "yeah I am hun now you better hurry up Alex will be back down soon" I go rigid at the thought but Reece rubs my back and whispers in my ear "its fine just let me tell you this I don't need help eating"

I help Reece with the first two mouthfuls he's doing a pretty good job at pretending there's something wrong, I wait until I hear Toby walks right away and then turn to face Reed totally discarding the bowl "what the fuck is going on here Reece" I just about bring back my anger but I still seethe out my sentence, he looks stunned by my attitude, "uh well you're not really going to like what I have to say" I immediately get the idea of where he's going with this "I decided to play on what I knew about Alex and I know babe you hate her but I need to get out of here and this is the only way" I watch him carefully half not wanting to hear what he's about to say "she's been giving me extra food and medicine so I don't die and I'm hoping that she will help me get out of here and then I can help you cause we both know she wouldn't do anything to help you" is stare pointedly at him still seething "listen to me right now Reece if this goes wrong I will be furious because you have just given me so much hope". I throw my arms around him and manage to just sneak out before I hear footsteps coming from the opposite set of stairs.
