Getting this Diary back

Okay guys I'm sorry I know I haven't updated for a while but here is the next chapter.

"Right Alex so what's the plan"
"I'm gonna chat to him and keep him occupied while you sneak round the back of him and snatch it out of his bag then leg it got it we'll check on the way to school tommorow see ya"

"Hiya you ready to put a plan get diary back into action"
Alex seems even more excited about
this than I am, and it's my diary.
She drives twice as fast then what she normally does,I'm scared that were actually gonna crash, but she's a good driver so we arrive at school 5mins later and ready to put our plan into action.

We arrive at the front doors and spy Reece chatting up some poor girl.
Alex marches right over to him and starts to put all out batting her eyelids,when suddenly she starts to take a totally different approach, we both knew that Reece had a match this weekend but I didn't expect her to bring that up,
"So Reece how was your match this weekend did you win"
"Um how do you know I had a match"
"Oh you know just by listening to people"
She starts to twirl her hair in her hands which is my queue to go ahead.
I start to steadily creep up behind him and I can see it,its right there,the corner of my diary, Reece is still focused on Alex,
"Yeah my match was great but there team was HUGE but I can take them on I mean come on I'm me"
Come on just a tiny bi- "That's why Mandy here is going to fail on getting her precious diary back" just as he says this he flips around grabs my wrist and drags me off
I turn around just in time to see Alex shrugging her shoulders apologetically, he doesn't stop until we reach his car outside. "What do you think you were going to do there"
He gets my diary out of his bag and holds it just out of reach he then tells me to stay where I am,reaches into his car,puts it into the glove box locks it and puts the key into his pocket.

"Guess I'm gonna have to keep this a bit longer then aren't I,if your going to try to keep getting it back" I stare at him pointedly and cross my arms "did you expect me to just play along" he doesn't answer but just chuckles and stalks off.

I storm of as quickly as I can there's no way I'm getting that key back from there.
I see Alex in English and I start to tell her everything that happened
"Mandy do you want an after school detention or do you want to tell the whole class what's so interesting"
I look Miss Water right in the eye and match up to the front
"Okay guys I was telling Alex about how much I love Macbeth and how I really feel sorry for him that Lady Macbeth just killed herself" I turn around and ask miss Water if that was ok
"U-um y-yeah that's o-ok thank you Mandy" I go back to my seat with a massive smirk on my face.

I decide to finish of my story at lunch thankfully no one interrupted us this time and we got a seat by ourselves,by the time time I'm finished she's gawping, I mean it's not that bad.
"HOW DID OUR PLAN NOT WORK"
That's what she cares about not that my precious diary is in that pricks glove box.
The rest of my lessons go uneventful and by he end of the day I just wanna go home.

I drag my feet and my bag out to Reece's car he's already waiting,
"What took you so long I've been waiting here for like half an hour"
"I think it's more like 5 minutes Reece learn the time if you ever decide to listen in class"

He drives right past my house not even bothering to ask if I wanted to drop my bag of say hi to my parents, yeah u know the normal stuff a kid does at the end of school."Tell your parents you staying at Alex's for a bit after school"
"Wait what I'm not lying to my parents"
"It's fine Mandy you're only gonna be here for a little bit with me and my friends"
