Ahhh guys so sorry for the wait but I started jr year abd it's been so dramatic and hard. Anyways here is the long awaited chapter 6 and I'll start writing more!!!- M

"Ok guys dig in" Izzie giving everyone their desired serving and enjoy their homemade meal.

Meredith was given her meal but something was off. Looking at it made her nauseous and almost unsettled. Looking at the food made her think back to all those nights where Ellis wasn't home due to a "big surgery" or when she was present she would alway remind Meredith just how many calories were in her meal.
"Mer... hello earth to mer" Derek was noticing how mer was spaced out for the past 5 min. "Meredith!".
"Huh- what"
"You were space off"
"Oh uh sorry"
She continued to look at her food taking small bites here and then. Derek noticed she was off but he would ask her later.
They all finished their food and got ready for bed. Meredith only ate about 1/3 of her food with leftovers to spare.
Meredith got ready for bed when Derek walked into her room.
"Hey"
"Hey Der, what's up?"
Are you ok? You didn't eat much and you seemed off all day."
"Yeah I'm fine."
"No your not."
Derek tapped the bed to signal to sit down. She sat next to him and in one swift motion she was in his arms.
"I have known you Meredith Grey for my whole life. I've seen what you've gone through which includes your parents abandoning you. Ever since your mothers death you haven't been yourself. You've stopped having that sparkle in your eye Mer and I know you aren't that moved by her death so what's wrong?"
She just looked at him stunned. He has always know when something is troubling her but he wouldn't get it. This was the one thing he didn't understand. The late night fights with her mom or the binging and purging after talks about how is she ate too much she couldn't fit in her clothes. Now that she's gone...she has freedom.
AYO LOOK WHO PUBLISHED. Ok so the next chapter will make more sense but I got ideas cooking in my brain that will be very good.
