Meredith are you ok-? Oh my God...
MER POV
I heard the door open and I knew I was done for. Like a bullet puncturing my heart I was exposed.
"Meredith oh God..." I saw Derek standing there; pale as a ghost.
"I- I can explain I- I'm so sorry. It won't happen again I just.."
Meredith started balling her eyes as the previous events flashed before her eyes. Derek quickly rose to action and cleaned up her arm and throwing away the blade. The then held her bringing her to Mers room.
"Oh Mer, what happened?"
"My Dad showed up after 25 years. Only her didn't come back for me, he came back for his new other daughter that he has. He started a whole new family." As Meredith spoke everything was hitting her at once. Her only father had left her alone with her negligent mother to start over.
Derek held her close never letting her go. How could someone do something so vile. Derek never liked Thatcher even when they were kids. How could someone want to hurt Meredith. His Mer.
"Oh mer. We've talked about this. Why didn't you to me. You ran away when you saw me talking with rose."
Rose. Oh how that name leave a lingering sting hearing it. Could she tell Derek her feelings.
"Derek I- I'm tired so ima go to sleep" damn it. I just can't. He would like me any way.
Meredith managed to leave Derek's arms and lay down going to sleep.
Derek disappointed walked out of her room to his feeling defeated.
