Meredith walked down stairs after taking her shower to see Izzie making breakfast while derek and George set the table with plates and some Mable syrup. She quietly makes her way down the stairs while being greeted by her friends.
"Morning sunshine, you look rested". Meredith got to the bottom on the stairs to see that Derek was talking. "Morning, did you make coffee yet?" She spoke as she glanced over to the coffee pot brewing a cup. Izzie walked over to the group with with about a dozen fluffy pancakes and poured them each a glass of coffee. "Wow izz this looks delicious" George mumbles while stuffing the breakfast in his mouth. They all started eat breakfast but soon noticed that Meredith wasn't really eating. I mean she managed to down 2 cups of coffee but only eat one pancake.
"You ok Mer?" Derek muttered while still eating. "Yeah no I'm fine just not hungry this morning" She sat there staring at her food. She looked at the clock to realize that they had to be at work soon. They finished their meal and got up to go to work.
The hole car ride Derek focused his attention on Meredith. 'She never misses breakfast, maybe she just has a bug' he thought. They rushed in the hospital and got ready in the residence lounge before meeting up with Bailey.
They followed her like dogs as she explained that they have a patient with likely diverticulitis. They walk down to the pit only to see..
