It didn't take long before Nany and I arrived at Dragon Stone. I was glad to say that after we left King's Landing Sami came to me and flew behind us all the way before arrival. I could feel that he was scared all the way back as his tail was shaking back and forth all flight long. He didn't like that I was flying without him, as he was a very jealous dragon. It didn't take long before we reached the castle and requested an audience with Pappa and Rhaenyra.

Our loud armor would be heard down the halls as we came into the great hall. In the distance I found them both, Pappa and my step mother, standing before the fire. I prayed to the gods that all of this would go well, but I knew that what was going to happen next was bad. "Princess Rhaenys Targaryen and Princess Dhaenys Targaryen." The guard announced and I could tell that they looked at us bothe with concern and confusion.

"Thank you, Ser Lorent. Is everything alright Dhaenys you seem an uneasy child," Rhaenyra and Pappa approached us as I tried to hold my composure with Nany on my side. I dreaded being the one to give the bad news, but there was no point in keeping it from them. "Princess Rhaenys, might we hope of Lord Corlys's recovery?" Nany looked at me knowing I had to be the one who had to announce the bad news.

"Viserys is dead." As soon as the words left my lips Rhaenyra went pale and Pappa looked more than upset, looking at me with fire in his eyes. "I feel this loss with you, I truly do Rhaenyra. My uncle, your brother Pappa, and your father... he always had a kind heart." I came to her and for the first time I wanted to hold her in my arms as she looked so broken. I held her hands knowing that my next words would complicate everything and more than likely start a civil war. "There is more... Aegon has been crowned as his successor."

Just then my stepmother jolted while holding her belly and seemed so out of place by the news. "They crowned him?" That is all she could ask as I couldn't take it anymore. I held her in my arms and just wanted her to feel loved even if she didn't love me. No deserved all that was happening to her, she was with child, and had just lost her father and alongside it the crown.
