Driftmark
Dhaenys's point of view
Once everything was done with we retrieved back to Driftmark. The girls flew on Sami's back, Nany on Meleys, and myself on Sandstorm it all felt so different. Since I first landed on this majestic beast everything felt different. As I touched it, he spoke to me, not only him Sami as well. Something inside me awoke. Now it was all so simple. No need for commands, for body language. I felt as if I had connected with both beasts in a deeper level.
The moment my body touched him I almost could hear their thoughts. Their feelings. I could understand them. Almost as if they were screaming for me. No words obviously but the feeling of them was present in my being. As I flew I would just think it and they would both obey. No commands needed just thoughts.
I had wished for them both to go home. To fly soft and safely and they both did no words ever spoken. Even my dear boy Sami new what to do with my friends over him with out me saying anything directly. How had I never thought of this. How had it come to this to understand that they could understand me with out knowing what I was saying.
We came closer towards the castle and there I could see the shadow of the castle lights. I wished for the dragons to land over the castle entrance and without even opening my mouth they both flew down slowly and started to approach what was the stone entrance where Grand Grand awaited for us. Good my boys.
We hand landed safe and sound as we all started to come off the dragon, Grand Grand speechless. "It's done..." that is all he could say wide eye staring at the new dragon in his courtyard.
"She did, add one more to the feeding list. Ha." Nany said jokingly as she slapped his shoulder with her ridding gloves. "Did you ever doubt your granddaughter." She extremely cocky as she was proud of her little girl. My grandmother was overjoyed with the idea that I had succeeded once more.
"It's called Sandstorm. Baptized myself. Don't worry Grand Grand. He only came to show you of my accomplishment. Are happy?" I asked running towards his arms as he held me closely. It was nice to be home.
"I am most proud that you have come back home safely my little mermaid. Now a lot has happened while you were gone. You might want to come with me..." Grand Grand let go of me and held my hand guiding me over towards the sea shore. "Men, lanterns please!" He screamed as my queen's guard, Ser Miro came forth a smile on his face seeing as his daughter was also back.
Just as we started rushing toward the shore more men with lanterns came forth illuminating the water and what laid over it. Over the sand a se were what had to be 20 boats full of violet almost indigo flowers so small that could fit in half my palm. "Who sent this?" I asked coming to grab one of the flowers wondering of this could have been from Aemond?
