chapsticks

don't know how this idea popped in my head but it just did - perhaps because i have a strawberry flavoured lipsmacker that is so strong you can smell it a mile away. it's also shaped like fanta which my friends find hilarious but anyways-

♥ 3rd person pov ♥

"Jagiya!" Chaeryeong called out from their shared room, as she heard her girlfriend, Ryujin, open the front door.

"Jagi, I'm home!!" Ryujin replied, closing the door.

"You're home so late! Come up here quick," Chaeryeong yelled eagerly, "I have something to show youuu~"

Ryujin popped her things by the door and headed up the stairs to their room.

"I got you the chapsticks you wanted!" Chaeryeong told her, as Ryujin pulled her in for a hug, "the only thing is, they didn't sell them individually, so I had to buy a pack of three."

"That's okay, jagiya," Ryujin laughed, coming away from the hug, "I appreciate you going out to buy them anyways."

Chaeryeong handed the packet to Ryujin for her to open them up. "Strawberry, lychee and pineapple! They all sound so nice."

"You should try them all, see which is your favourite!" Chaeryeong suggested.

But after putting each on - strawberry, lychee and then pineapple, Ryujin realised she was in for a slightly difficult decision. "Ugh, I can't decide, Ryeongie! You really had to buy all the best flavours in one!"

Chaeryeong laughed, "it's not my fault these came together! The only other ones were flavours I know you hate, plus I'm not the one who owns the chapstick company!"

She sat down on the bed with Ryujin. "How about I decide for you, then?"

And she pulled Ryujin in for a peck on the lips.

"I- Ryeongi jinjja~~~," Ryujin sighed, laughing at her girlfriend.

"What, Ryujinnie!?" Chaeryeong hit the other playfully, "You're already wearing some, I'm not gonna waste more than I need to! That was the pineapple, right?"

"Yep..." Ryujin chuckled, "what do you think?"

"Eh, it's not bad," Chaeryeong replied, "put on the next one."

And so Ryujin wiped the pineapple onto the back of her hand and put on some of the strawberry, before looking at her girlfriend flirtatiously.

"We're supposed to be trying the chapsticks, Ryujinnie!" Chaeryeong smirked after realising what Ryujin was doing, "not trying me! Give me your lips."

Ryujin's expression of hysteric surprise was hilarious. "Since when did you get so bold?"

Chaeryeong shut her up with another kiss, this time a little slower, and a little deeper. "Wow, the strawberry's so strong! It tastes like soda..."

Ryujin wiped the strawberry onto the back of her other hand, before applying a layer of the lychee (a little thicker this time, since she knew Chaeryeong was a fan of the fruit).

This time Ryujin pulled the other in, the new chapstick allowing their lips to glide together as smooth as butter.

"Oh my goodness, that one is so good," Chaeryeong said in shock as she pulled away, "okay, you can take that off, I'll decide which is my favourite."

Ryujin brought one of her hands to her lips, before laughing as she realised, "hang on, I already used both backs of my hands... let me get a makeup wipe-"

"Ah, you pabo," Chaeryeong rolled her eyes, "here, let me do it for you."

And Chaeryeong pulled her girlfriend in for one last kiss, removing every remnant of lychee until only the blissful flavour of Ryujin's own lips was left to taste.

"Okay, I think I know my favourite," Chaeryeong said cutely, "well- two favourites, actually. And maybe one is sliightly better than the other..."

Ryujin looked surprised. "Two? It was pretty clear to me that lychee was the sole winner?"

"Well, yes, the lychee of course," Chaeryeong admitted, "but my real favourite is the one you've got on now."

"What- but I'm not wearing any now?" Ryujin said, confused.

"Ah, I said you were a pabo!" Chaeryeong laughed again, "the taste of your lips, Ryujinnie, they're my real favourite."

Ryujin smiled as she realised she fell for Chaeryeong's adorable tricks. "Well, then, if you love my lips so much, kiss me again."

And so they did. For muuuuuch longer than a layer of chapstick could ever last.
