After arriving in Phoenix earlier that day, the ITZY girls had gone to bed in their separate hotel rooms. However, with the culmination of jetlag, adrenaline, and the strange stresses travel has on your body, all the members were awake in the wee hours of the morning.

For instance, it was 4:14am when Chaeryeong woke up.

Grabbing her camera so she could record for their IT'Z TOUR BOOK series, she filmed the clock as she sighed to MIDZYs, "I can't believe this... you can't either, right?"

Even her humidifier looked confused why she was awake in the middle of the night. Despite that though, the ITZY group chat was alive, Yeji enjoying sending pictures of her snacks with the caption "the taste of Korea".

"You're eating now?" Lia sent following Yeji's picture.

"Why not?" Yeji argued, "I have a million reasons I could tell you for why it's perfectly reasonable, but I've got flavouring on my fingers so I can't type very well."

Placing her camera beside her after turning it off, Chaeryeong brought her thumbs to type on the keyboard, "let's just start a group call. My neck and legs and everything are so tight right now I literally am not going to get back to sleep."

The other members picked up in an instant.

"I thought I was actually going to sleep well," Lia complained as they all joined the call, "'cause I didn't sleep much on the flight at all."

"For real, unnie," Yuna agreed, "I literally played games on my laptop through the flight just so I could sleep tonight but apparently that's off the agenda."

"Yuna the university student with her laptop strikes again," Yeji laughed (of which the reference would later become used in their tourbook episodes ;).

"Yah, unnie!" Yuna exclaimed at being teased, before reducing to a whisper at the realisation she was being a little too loud for the time it was, "at least I didn't forget my wallet like Chaeryeong unnie."

"What are we to do with you, Chaeryeong-ah?" Ryujin added to the fun-poking.

Despite not appreciating the rubbing-in, Chaeryeong admittedly found it all hilarious, "you guys think you're sooooo funny."

After more laughing, and bickering, and more laughing, the oldest members decided to call it a night.

"Right, well I've finished my snacks," Yeji said to the sound of package crinkling in the background, "I'm going to try and sleep again."

"I should probably do the same," Lia agreed.

As it always is on voice calls. Chaeryeong and Ryujin's voices were suddenly heard overlapping, "Ugh, I wish I could but I'm seriously not tired."

The simultaneous remark was followed by hysteric laughter from the two.

"Well you'll just have to find a way to entertain yourselves then," Yuna shrugged, "which I'm sure of all of us the lovebirds won't have any trouble doing. You could even go to the pool or something."

Yeji's eyes went wide at the sound of this remark. While the couple might be secret to the public, them and their passionate antics weren't at all unknown to the members. "Well whatever you do, just be careful if you're going around anywhere. We're only allowed to stay in the hotel like our managers clearly told us, and as well as there being rooms with clear view of the pool, there are bound to be cameras around the place. Security or not."
