Bobby, John, Eddie, and Mary walked into the small Italian restaurant. Eddie had handed Odette back to Bobby. A waitress turned towards them. She opened her mouth to welcome them, but instead she smiled broadly and ran towards Eddie.
"Eduardo!" She exclaimed wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
Eddie smiled and kissed her on the lips. "Nice to see you again, Antonia," He said breaking apart from her.
"Where have you been?" Antonia asked. She elongated the word been.
Eddie leaned his forehead onto hers. "I've been busy," He said.
Antonia kissed his on the cheek then the lips. "I missed you," She whined.
"I'm sorry. I need to visit you more often," Eddie said. He leaned in to kiss her again, but she put her finger onto his lips.
"Promise you will?" She asked.
"I can't promise that. I never know where I have to be now that my band needs me," Eddie said.
Antonia frowned. "I wished you would take me with you on some of your tours," She said.
Eddie kissed her on the cheek. "Touring with a bunch of men is not a life for a young lady," He said.
Antonia stuck her lip out at him. Eddie kissed her lips. She wrapped her arms behind his neck. Eddie let his fingers run through her long black hair.
Bobby coughed. Eddie untangled himself from Antonia's arms and turned towards Bobby.
"Sí?" Eddie said smiling. (Yes? Funny, it's the same in Italian and Spanish, darn Latin-based languages.)
"Non farlo," Bobby said shaking his head. (Don't do that.)
Eddie laughed and kissed Antonia on the cheek one more time. "Well, let's all sit down and eat heartily! I can pay for everything," Eddie said.
John sat down first at a table with four seats. The table had a red checkered table clothe and a green napkin dispenser and it was pushed up against the wall. John looked extremely upset with Eddie and Antonia's behavior.
Eddie sat down next to John. He watched Antonia hurry off to get them menus. He didn't even try to hide the fact that he was admiring her quite blessed figure. Bobby and Mary sat opposite of John and Eddie. Mary sat in front of John, and Bobby sat in front of Eddie.
John was staring at the table clothe. He was counting the number of red squares on the clothe. Antonia was back with the menus. She handed Eddie his menu first, then John, then Mary, then Bobby.
Antonia stayed near their table, near Eddie. Eddie would watch her silently when her back was turned. He would look straight at her butt. He had no shame in the fact that he was checking her best feature out. John was frustrated by this.
Eddie looked at John and Mary and Bobby. "So what do you want to order?" He asked.
Mary looked at Bobby, and Bobby looked back at her. There was silence. None of them knew what to order.
Antonia leaned over and smiled. He shirt was low cut so her cleavage was clearly visible. "My father has been making a lot of pizza lately," She said. "He is always wanting opinions on how it tastes."
Bobby looked at Mary. "Pizza sounds good," He said.
Mary smiled and nodded. John shrugged. Eddie looked over at Antonia. "I guess a large pizza it is, with everything on it," He said.
"Everything?" Antonia said slowly.
Eddie grinned.
Antonia shrugged and walked off speaking in Italian under her breath. When she walked into the kitchen to give her father their order, she was greeted with loud Italian.
"Father..." Antonia said annoyed.
More loud, angry Italian.
"It is Eduardo, father," Antonia said in a slightly whining voice.
"That lazy bum?!" Antonia's father shouted.
"Father..." Antonia moaned.
Eddie looked over at the kitchen. He shook his head slightly. "He still doesn't like me..." Eddie said under his breath.
John looked over at Eddie. Eddie look almost sad. Antonia came back from behind the kitchen. She looked angry.
"He said he was not going to make anything for you," Antonia said standing in front of their table.
Eddie shrugged. "Whatever... Tell your old man that I don't need his food," He said standing up.
Eddie pushed his chair back in. Bobby, Mary, and John caught hint and stood up as well. John and Bobby left their chairs out, but Mary politely pushed hers back in.
Mary turned to Antonia. "You know you can't let him run your life for the rest of your life," She said as soon as the boys were out of the restaurant.
Antonia frowned. "I know, but I do not know how to escape him," She said.
"I can't tell you how to do it, but you've got to, for your own happiness," Mary said walking towards the door.
Antonia frowned. "Tell Eddie I love him," She said after Mary.
Mary nodded and slipped out of the door. Antonia wandered back to the table Eddie and Mary and Bobby and John had been sitting. She sunk down into one of the chairs and rested her face into her hands. She felt tears well up in her eyes.
After crying for about an hour, Antonia looked up at the clock on the wall.
It was three.
