A Family for us. [HAITUS] Beidou x Ningguang fic

The next morning, Ningguang woke up around noon.

Walking to the kitchen, she saw the potion on the counter, half empty.

"Shit-!"

She put the potion into her tea instead of water.

-Beidous side-

"Captain, inazuma is up ahead," a crew member said.

"Perfect," Beidou replied, putting her gloves back on.

They docked the boat with no problems. Beidou started her search for a jewler. She searched high and low, every nook and cranny of inazuma city.

She was about to give up, until an old lady walked up to her.

"Your not from here?" The old lady said.

"Ding ding ding! I came here from Liyue," Beidou said.

"You look troubled dear, everything okay?"

"I want to propose to my partner, but I dont have a ring, and I cant find a vendor that makes rings." Beidou said, resting her head on her hand.

"You didn't look hard enough," the lady walked towards Beidou.

"Huh?"

"My husband runs a jewlery shop at the end of the road, im sure he could make a ring for you,"

"Really?! That wont be any trouble?!"

The lady shook her head.

"Thank you so much."

"Ill take you there right now," the lady got Beidou to follow her.

"You are a life saver, you do not know how much this means to me,"

They both got to the vendor, there was a old man, carefully fitting a beautiful pink gem into a necklace.

"Honey, ive brought a guest."

The man raised his head to see his wife, and a stranger behind her.

"Go on, tell him," the lady said.

"Oh right. Um hello, im Beidou. Im looking for someone who can make me a custom ring. Your wife told me that that might be something you could do." Beidou said twiddling her thumbs.

"Hmm....may I know of the occaison?"

"Id like to propose to my partner, they mean everything to me, and its been painfull waiting 6 years for me to finally build up the courage to ask them," Beidou said, being carefull of her words. She didn't know what their opinions on same-sex marriage were.

"I have a wide selection of ores, gems. Pick one, and ill have the ring ready in a week. I also need the mesurments for the finger."

Beidou gave the man a slip on paper, begore turning to look at the gems.

"I dont know which one to chose..."

"Id personaly go with this one," the lady pointed to a diamond, the diamond had a pink hue to it.

"I hadn't seen that one. I think ill go with that one. It looks beautiful...." "Just like her"

"It should take a week, come back then."

"Thank you so much, would you like half now, then half after?"

"As yes, I forgot about payment. Yes that should be good."

Beidou gave the man a sac of mora, before she exited the shop. She made her way to her ship.

-Week later-

Beidou returned to the shop, looking at the felt boxes before the man entered the room.

"Have you found one you like?"

"Yeah," she grabbed a small dark blue box, lined with a soft white pillow for the ring to sit.

The man took the box from her hand, and placed the ring snug in the box. Beidou gave the man the rest of the mora and thanked him.

She exited the shop with the box in her hand. Opening the lid, she looked at the ring.

It had two loops intertwined, Beidou guessed that it symbolised her and Ningguang, with the diamond in the middle. She fell in love with the ring.

She placed the ring in her pocket before stepping back on the alcor.

Kazuha had returned from his friends grave.

"Thank you, Captain. I really needed to talk to him."

"Its no problem Kaz," Beidou said.

-Back to Ningguang-

"Lady Ningguang? Are you feeling well?" Ganyu said.

"No. I accidently took that potion from that Monstadt guy and im scared."

Ganyu was shocked.

"Whens Beidou coming back?" Ganyu said, sitting down to comfort Ningguang.

"Not until another 2 weeks, do I take a test soon? Or wait for her?"

"If it were me and Keqing, I'd wait for her to comeback, even if it feels like forever. I would like her to be there if I were to find out I were pregnant."

"What.....?" Keqing walked in.

"Oh, hello Keqing!" Ganyu said, smiling at Keqing.

"What were you saying about you being....pregnant?" Keqing asked slowly.

"Huh, oh me and Lady Ningguang were talkin- OH! No no no! Im not- Ningguan- Im not pregnant Keqing!" Ganyu said in a hurry, trying to get words out of her mouth.

"Okay! Phew, nearly gave me a heartattack," Keqing placed her hand on her heart, hunching over.

"Yuheng, may we help you?"

"Ah yes! The real reason im here, ive got a report from the alcor, Beidou is setting sail a week earlier than expected."

Ningguang nodded her head and smiled at Keqing.

"Thank you."

"No problem."

Keqing exited the office.

"Lady Ningguang, im going to take my leave aswell." Ganyu said, standing up.

"Thank you."

Ganyu left the room. Entering Keqings office.

"Hey...can we talk for a second," Ganyu said sitting on her couch.

"Yeah...one sec." Keqing finished her signature and joined Ganyu on their couch.

"About what you said. I know were not married but I would like to cross the path of kids at somepoint. We dont have to right now, of course. Just putting it out there," Ganyu said.

"Can we have this conversation another day....please?" Keqing said, desperate to change the subject.

"I suppose," Ganyu replied.
