Ningguangs appointment was today.

Beidou and Ningguang enter the hospital room, their faces filled with a mix of anticipation and sorrow. The room is quiet and serene, with soft sunlight filtering through the window, casting a gentle glow on the small bassinet in the corner.

Ningguang reaches out and takes Beidou's hand, intertwining their fingers, offering comfort and support. They approach the bassinet together, their hearts heavy with the weight of loss.

Ningguang's voice quivers as she speaks, her love for Beidou evident in her every word.

"Beidou, our precious baby... our little one. She's here..."

Beidou's eyes fill with tears, her voice choked with emotion.

"I never imagined we would have to say goodbye so soon. It's not fair."

They stand beside the bassinet, gazing down at their baby, their love mingled with grief. The tiny form wrapped in a soft blanket, peaceful yet achingly still.

Ningguang reaches out and touches the baby's hand, her touch gentle and tender.

"You were so loved, little one. Our hearts were filled with dreams for you."

Beidou's hand trembles as she reaches out to brush a finger against the baby's cheek.

"Gods, she looks just like you,"...." We had so many hopes, so many plans... It hurts, Ningguang," She whispered.

Ningguang pulled Beidou into a tender embrace, holding her tightly as tears flow freely.

"I don't wanna say goodbye..." She said, sobbing into Ningguang.

They stand there, wrapped in each other's arms, finding comfort in their shared pain. In this vulnerable moment, they begin to rebuild the foundation of their love, understanding that healing takes time and forgiveness. Together, they will navigate the depths of grief, supporting one another and finding the light that still flickers within their hearts.

It had been a few months since their miscarriage. Ningguang had gone back to work full-time, and Beidou was sailing. They held a small funeral for their little baby girl. then everything went back to normal.

"Come on Beidou. Lift your foot." Ganyu said, guiding a VERY drunk Beidou through the door. Ningguang took over as Beidous crutch when she saw what all the commotion was.

"I've got her now. Thank you Ganyu."

Ningguang guided Beidou to sit in the living room. The living room is dimly lit, casting shadows across the furniture. Beidou stumbles into the room, clearly intoxicated, her words slurring as she sways unsteadily. Ningguang, her expression a mix of concern and sadness, watches Beidou with worried eyes.

Beidou grabbed the photo of the ultrasound, squeezing the piece of paper with so much force it started to crease.

"Beidou....calm down."

"You know, Ningguang, this is all your fault! If it wasn't for you, we wouldn't have lost our baby!" She snapped.

Ningguang's eyes widen in shock at Beidou's words, but she remains composed, understanding the pain that has driven Beidou to this point.

"Beidou, please, you're not thinking clearly right now. It's not fair to blame me for something that was out of our control."

Beidou's face contorted with anger, her voice growing louder.

"No! You don't understand! Why didn't you wake me up? This wouldn't have happened!"

Ningguang takes a step forward, reaching out a hand to steady Beidou.

"Don't fucking touch me!" She slapped her hand back.

"Beidou, I cared deeply about our baby. I still do. But we both know the truth. It was a tragic accident, and blaming each other won't bring our child back."

"I miss them, Ningguang. I miss our baby so much. It hurts, and I don't know how to handle it." Beidou sunk to the floor, burying her head in her knees.

Ningguang moves closer, wrapping her arms around the Beidou ball in a tender embrace.

"I miss them too, Beidou. We need to support each other through this pain, not let it drive us apart."

"Dont. Touch. ME!" Beidou stormed out of the room.

-TIME SKIP-

The Jade Chamber stands tall, its majestic presence commanding respect. Inside, the air is filled with tension as Beidou steps into the grand chamber, her expression one of remorse and regret. Ningguang, standing near the window, appears distant yet yearning for resolution.

"Ningguang, I... I need to apologize. I was drunk and said things in the heat of the argument that I never should have said. I'm truly sorry for hurting you."

Ningguang turns her gaze toward Beidou, her eyes filled with a mix of pain and longing. She takes a moment before responding, her voice laced with vulnerability.

"I'm sorry, Ningguang. I didn't mean to say those things. I just... I don't know how to deal with this emptiness." She said through her tears.

"Beidou, your words... they cut deep. I appreciate your apology, and I want us to find a way to move forward. And by no means should this ever happen again." She said, slightly trembling.

Beidou takes hesitant steps toward Ningguang, her voice filled with remorse.

"I never meant to hurt you like that, Ningguang. I let my anger get the best of me, and I said things I can't take back. Please forgive me."

Ningguang's expression softens, a mix of forgiveness and sadness etched upon her features.

"Beidou, I want to believe that you didn't mean those words, but we need to work on rebuilding the trust that was broken."

Beidou's eyes well up with tears, her voice filled with desperation.

"I love you, Ningguang, and I don't want our relationship to crumble because of my thoughtless words. I'll do whatever it takes to earn back your trust." She said, fighting back tears.

Ningguang takes a step closer, her voice filled with a mix of longing and caution.

"Beidou, rebuilding trust takes time and effort from both of us. It won't be easy, but I'm willing to try if you are. We need to communicate better and be more considerate of each other's feelings."

Beidou nods, voice filled with determination.

"I promise, I'll try to get my drinking under control."

They stand there, the weight of their shared history and love filling the space between them. Ningguang reaches out, gently placing a hand on Beidou's cheek, their eyes locked in a moment of connection.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Beidou."

As they embrace, the tension of the argument fades away, replaced by a renewed commitment to understanding and growth. In the Jade Chamber, they find solace, knowing that their love is resilient enough to weather the storms of disagreement and emerge even stronger.
