Ningguang wakes up to someone grabbing her face, she shakes Beidou. She can see a shadow on Beidous side of the bed, injecting something into her neck. Just as the guy injected something into Beidou's neck, the world went dark around her.

Couple hours later

A flickering fluorescent light casts eerie shadows on the damp concrete walls. Ningguang is bound to a rusty chair in the center of the room.

a menacing figure wearing a hooded cloak walks towards her. Their face is concealed in the shadows, making it difficult to discern their intentions. She can make out the figure, it's the figure of a man.

"Well, well, Ningguang. It seems you've found yourself in quite a predicament."

Ningguang lifts her head, meeting the kidnapper's gaze.

"You won't achieve anything by keeping me here. I assure you, my wife will find me, and trust me, she's not happy when I'm hurt."

"Oh, my dear Ningguang, you underestimate my abilities. I've taken great precautions to ensure your disappearance remains undetected. Your so-called wife won't find you." The kidnapper said, taking a knife out of his pocket, twirling it around his finger till it drew blood.

Ningguang narrows her eyes, contemplating her next move. The kidnapper steps closer, their footsteps echoing in the empty room.

"Tell me, what do you hope to gain from all of this?" Ningguang asks, trying to break free from her restraints.

" You're mine to do with as I please. You see, I enjoy making strong-willed women like you submit to my will. It's satisfying to watch your spirit crumble. I want information, my dear. You possess knowledge that could change the course of events, secrets that are worth a fortune. It's amazing what people are willing to pay for power." He says, wiping the blood off with a cloth.

"I will never give you the satisfaction of seeing me surrender."

The kidnapper leans in closer, their hot breath against Ningguang's face.

"You think you're so brave? So defiant? I'll make you regret those words."

Without warning, the kidnapper delivers a vicious slap across Ningguang's face, causing her head to snap to the side.

"Is that the best you can do? Your abuse won't weaken me. It will only fuel my determination to escape."

Infuriated, the kidnapper grabs Ningguang's jaw, forcing her to meet their gaze.

"You'll soon learn the consequences of crossing me, Ningguang. I'll break you, piece by piece, until there's nothing left." He says.

Ningguang spits in the kidnapper's face, a spark of rebellion shining in her eyes.

Enraged, the kidnapper delivers a brutal blow to Ningguang's stomach, causing her to double over in pain. Ningguang's body trembles, a mix of pain and defiance. She lifts her head, locking eyes with her tormentor. He reaches out, slapping Ningguang across the face with a force that rattles her already fragile frame. She winces in pain, tears welling up in her eyes.

"Beidou... I'm sorry," Ningguang whispers. "You can hurt me all you want, but you won't control me. I'll never be your puppet, I'll never tell you."

He grabs her by the hair. Ningguang clenches her jaw, refusing to give him the satisfaction of her pain.
