Morning Sickness

"mmm.......fuuuuckkk," Ningguang stirred awake, placing her hand on her stomach, rubbing in small circles. Ningguang felt something in her throat, she darted up and bolted to the bathroom shutting the door behind her.

After about 5 minutes, Beidou started to wake up. She placed her hand where Ningguang had been sleeping,

"It's still warm," she thought.

She heard the water running in the bathroom before it shut off. Beidou flopped back into bed with a huff.

10 minutes had passed and no sign of Ningguang. Beidou got out of bed and shuffled her way to the bathroom door, she knocked twice before hearing quiet moans from the other side of the door.

"Hey, Ning? You good in there?"

"mmm"

"Can I....come in?"

"mmhmm"

Beidou turned the doorknob slowly, careful not to startle Ningguang. Beidou's mouth gaped at the image in front of her. Ningguang raised her head out of the toilet bowl, and Beidou could see the bags under her eyes.

"you...um..ok?" she asked.

"Does. It. Look. Like. It?"

"Geez sorry for asking..." Beidou whispered under her breath.

Beidou took Ningguangs hair, gathering it all in her hand. She held her hair like a ponytail as Ningguang regurgitates.

Ningguang's head emerges from the bowl, reaching to flush the toilet. Beidou wraps toilet paper around her hand, lifting herself up, she runs the paper under tap water.

"Come here." Beidou beckons her hand for her to come near her. She gently wiped Ningguangs mouth. "Feelin' any better?"

" A little"

Beidou slings her arm over her, rubbing small circles on Ningguangs back. Ningguang let herself fall on Beidou's shoulder.

"That helps...Thank you." She mumbled.

They both sat in silence, Beidou kept rubbing small circles on her back.

"How bout' we get something in that stomach?" She whispered.

Ningguang nodded. Beidou got first, stepped on Ningguangs feet, and offered her hands to her to which Ningguang happily accepted.

"What do you feel for breakfast?"

"Nothing with a lot of flavors...please," she said flopping on the couch.

A couple of minutes passed and Beidou walks out with a plate of pancakes.

"This won't poison me, right?"

"No..it won't."

"How's the planning for lantern rite coming?"

"I've been asking Ganyu and Keqing to organize it because I'm too tired after work and......mmmm"

"I don't see a problem in asking for help. Let's stop talking about work, huh?"

"you're the one who brought it up" She replied.

" I know, I know. You know what I could use?"

"mmm?"

"A nice warm bath, with bubbles...and a blonde-haired goddess on my lap."

"I could use a bath....please," Ningguang mumbled.

"I'll get that started."

"Ning....the bath is ready," Beidou nudged Ningguang awake.

"Alright."

The pair made their way into the bathroom. Ningguang noticed all the candles lit around the bathtub. She slowly started to get undressed, struggling to get her shirt off Beidou lifts it over her head.

"Let me get in first," Beidou says, letting her body sink into the tub. She let the water sink into all the nooks and crannies of her body before patting her lap signaling for Ningguang to join and lie down with her.

"This is heavenly,"

Beidou placed her hands on Ningguangs belly and started rubbing it in circles, The bath was quiet, the silence being broken up by the splashing of the waves.

"I thought I heard the old man say, Leave her, Johnny, leave her" Beidou sang.

"Hm?"

"shh, just relax into me." "Tomorrow ye will get your pay, And it's time for us to leave her." Beidou ran her hands up Ningguangs body.

"Leave her, Johnny, leave her. Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her" She ran her hands back down Ningguangs body.

"For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow, And it's time for us to leave her."

"Oh, the wind was foul and the sea ran high. Leave her, Johnny, leave her"

"She shipped it green and none went by, And it's time for us to leave her" Beidou massaged Ningguangs thighs.

"Leave her, Johnny, leave her Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her"

Beidou started tracing the tattoo on Ningguangs thigh and continued to sing.

"I hate to sail on this rotten tub, Leave her, Johnny, leave her"

"No grog allowed and rotten grub, And it's time for us to leave her"

"Leave her, Johnny, leave her, Oh, leave her, Johnny, leave her" Beidou started to sway her body slowly to the rhythm of the song.

"We swear by rote for want of more Leave her, Johnny, leave her"

"But now we're through so we'll go on shore And it's time for us to leave her"

"For the voyage is long and the winds don't blow And it's time for us to leave her" Beidou whispered the last line of the song careful if Ningguang was sleeping or not. Beidou lathered some soap on her hands and washed Ningguangs back.

Beidou drained the bath and wrapped a bathrobe around Ningguang, gently placing her into bed.

Beidou searched for a bucket to put near Ningguang in case she couldn't make it to the bathroom in time.

Beidou went outside of her chambers to go tell the secretaries that their boss wouldn't be at work today. As she made her way back to Ningguangs bedroom, she thought of all the sea shanties she could sing to her newborn. soothing it while they cry, putting them to sleep, Beidou could only think of the unlimited possibilities that she could do as a mother.

Beidou made her way to Ningguangs, opening the door and closing it gently behind her to not wake up her sleepy girlfriend.

"Hey, Ning? Babe? I put a bucket right beside ur side of the bed in case u won't make it to the bathroom in time, I want you to get some rest for me, I've informed your secretaries that you wouldn't be in today, so just rest for me."

"mm ok..." Beidou pushed back her bangs and kissed her forehead.

"Have a good sleep, Ning..."
