POV Kaitlyn

The cement steps of the fairly new high school were being splotched by water as it fell from the heavens. I turned behind me to glance at my love. He was staring at the sky, a few drops of water falling onto his pale face. I squeezed my hand tighter around his. He turned and smiled at me. "We better hurry." I nodded in agreement. He ran in front of me, our hands still intertwined. I giggled as his dark red hair flopped up and down. The rain made it feel like the sky decided to fall. It was no longer sprinkling down in a comfortable drizzle, but a heavy downpour.

We reached the top step, but our momentum kept us going until we were skidding toward the old cement wall. Eric slammed against the wall, and I fell against him. He twirled me around in a single movement and he pulled me close. I leaned down and our lips met. It felt like a wonderful eternity till he pulled away, but it wasn't long enough. I looked up at him, his hair a shade darker and dripping with beautiful water droplets. We stayed like that, until we were soaking wet. My chocolate eyes never left his. A cold breeze blew by, sending a shiver down my spine. "I guess we should head inside" He said with a loving smile.

"I guess we should go." I said shyly looking down at my shoes. We walked down the side walk to the entrance. Other Students were either rushing inside, blocking out the rain with their coats, or strolling lazily with an umbrella over their head while Eric and I slowly made our way to the door swinging our hands back and forth, already drenched.

When we walked inside I Immediately got goose bumps running up my arms due to the air conditioning. My jeans began to cling to my scrawny legs uncomfortably. I pulled the door to the gym open and a wall of noise hit us like a brick. We walked all the way across gym and stepped up into the bleachers. Paige and carter were in a lovey dovey conversation. Paige had her head leaning on Carters shoulder, looking at him from the corner of her eye, Carter's arm over her shoulder, and I dare not ruin their little moment, but I also didn't want get in the middle of Raven and Tara's argument.

"Stop touching my binder!" Screamed Raven. Tara reached over and unzipped the front pocket of Raven's worn, black binder. "Tara!" Tara received a smack. It just spiraled downward from there. It was too late, though. "Kaitlyn, tell her to leave my crap alone!" whined Raven. I made an awkward smile as they both continued their quarreling. Eric took a seat and pulled me with him. I did my best to ignore Tara and Raven as they began to team up and play with my long brown hair.

POV Axel

My head slammed against the bus's grimy window, nocking me into consciousness. I groaned looking at Daxen who was leaning over the chair and sleeping in an awkward position. The rain was coming down in buckets. I could barely make out the outline of the school. The bus stopped and I nudged Daxen awake. "What?" He asked lazily.

"Come on, let hell begin." I said bored. We walked into the back door which was right next to the loud cafeteria. A smile made its way onto my face when I remembered that Tara would be in the gym. I quickly hid it though, because I didn't want Daxen asking questions. The gym was incredibly loud and perked my senses. I held myself from sprinting to the other end of the gym. I saw my brother, Eric, canoodling with Kaitlyn. He had decided to wake up extra early and have mom drop him off at her house so he could walk to school with her. I would do the same with Tara except for the fact that 1) we both enjoy sleeping in and 2) she doesn't live in walking distance to the school. I couldn't hold my smile back when my eyes reached her. She was arguing with Raven, but when was that not normal. I took a seat next to her and saw my chance to get her attention. I pulled a lock of her hair behind her ear and she turned, a smile identical to mine was etched into her beautiful features. I put my arm casually around her. I started playing with a lock of her golden hair that was in reach.
