The sky was blanketed in a cold night, stars littered throughout it as the shattered moon illuminated the land below. In the land, was single room. The room was filled with shelving and a single desk. At the desk was Roman, currently in the middle of a conversation on the phone.
Roman: Are you serious?! That is a tad bit too much isn't it?!
Meanwhile, you were standing at his side, simply happy to be around. He then slammed the phone down in anger and dragged his hand down along his face with a groan as he pulled out his cigar. He placed it in his mouth, and before he could grab his lighter, you lit it up with a small orange flame at the end of your finger.
Roman: Thanks kid.
You just giggled as he sighed, pondering on his next steps, before a man came in. He wore a gray mask and a hood, pushing a trolley in.
Roman: Hm, 'bout time.
Roman quickly pulled out a stack of blue-colored Lien, placing it down on the desk. The hooded man looked at the cash for a moment, before taking and pocketing it.
Roman: Open it.
Y/N: Oh, what's inside?
Roman: If I am to be correct. . .
The hooded man used a crowbar to open it, revealing a large amount of Dust crystals of different colors.
Y/N: Man, we sure are getting a lot of those Dust things.
Roman: Yes, but not enough. We're going to need a lot more men.
Roman dismissed the man with a wave as he moved the trolley out. Roman leaned back with a sigh, taking out and smudging his cigar out and tossing it into a can behind him.
Y/N: What do we need the men for?
Roman: The next step of the operation, Beacon academy.
He pointed to the map on his desk, which you took a glance at. A map of Vale, with many of its districts crossed out, and a specific point of interest circled many times. Beacon, like he said.
Y/N: So, what's the plan?
Roman: For now, we have to hope Cinder's little deal goes well so we can get more people.
Y/N: Am I going to have more partners?
He chuckled.
Roman: No, no. More like, goons. We will be able to relax a bit more on the heavy lifting-
Y/N: But we never did that ourselves in the first place-
Roman: Shush! Point is, we will be commanding a large force soon.
Y/N: So~ what do we do right now?
Roman: Just stay alert, our next task will be soon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Y/N: You know, when you said soon I didn't expect it to take months!
You were currently riding in a large cargo ship with Roman and a bunch of other individuals. Each of them wearing a grimm mask on their faces.
Roman: Well, we needed a workforce first, and that took some time. But hey! Now we got these mutts working fine and dandy!
There was agitation in the air, with some of the White Fang members scoffing at Roman's words. However, they didn't act on much as they were ordered to work with him, whether they liked it or not. Before long, the craft's movement became jagged.
