Well, guess i'm back. Oh yeah, and a bit of a style change.
----------
The soft chirp of the bird resting on your finger, the whispers of the melody the wind sang, and the comfort of the grass you sat on, all under the shadow of a tree. After what happened yesterday, you were quite stressed. You did your best, and yet your new friends hurt your feelings. Casted you to the side- or rather, casted you out.
"It, is all so confusing," you sighed. You decided to rest your head onto the bark of the tree behind you. Eventually, the bird flew away, leaving you once more alone.
Silence.
The gentle breeze licked your face, which was currently uncovered. Your mask, laying next to you on the ground. It was... peaceful. Truly, peaceful. At this point, you forgot what you were even worried about! Well, time to head back to school and meet up with your friends-
And you remembered again.
"Augh," you groaned slightly in annoyance at your capability to forget such a thing so easily. You were meant to have fun, this was meant to be a little vacation time before you actually were to begin work. And yet, here you are moping. A thought formed in your head suddenly.
What was the purpose of all this stuff anyways? You completed your initial training, surely you could be sent off to do the work required already. Perhaps, they are still treating you like a child? No, no. That can't be, one of the superiors are literally around your age! Maybe there is another reason? Perhaps you haven't understood the brilliance of your superiors' plans. Yes, that must be it! Ah, you were such a fool to think you can comprehend what they are thinking. For all you know, this could have some greater purpose, maybe even-
You gasped. It couldn't be... or could it? What if, this was all a test? Oh dear, you haven't thought about that until now! And so far, you haven't exactly proven yourself good at all!
You quickly grabbed your mask, standing up swiftly.
"If this truly is a test, then I need to find out what requirements I must meet!" You exclaimed to yourself outloud, placing your mask on your face. Once more, the static expression plastered on it came back to life, mirroring your face behind it. "Alright, what have I learned so far?" You pondered, "Four kingdoms, semblances, grimm... are there signs of war perhaps? No, I haven't seen any. Then again, I haven't exactly been around the world at all! Alright, I guess I have a plan for now. I'll do a quick check on each kingdom that I haven't visited so far, and do a bit of investigation. Yes yes, and then..." you began to mumble to yourself in thought.
This uh, went on for quite a bit. You, standing in the middle of a forest somewhere in the world of Remnant, muttering your plans to...nobody, but yourself.
This is the protagonist, people! Well, at least for this tale. Though what can I say, i'm just a narrator given a script by my boss. Oh, sorry. Let me continue- ahem.
Finally, after your little quiet monologue to yourself, you reached into whatever pockets you had. You produced the map Raven had given you, opening it up and observing it once more. Vale, you already were in.
"Then I guess i'll go from left to right, Vacuo, Atlas, then Mistral. Alright!" You closed the map, placing it back into whatever kinda strange sorcery you use to hide it within your clothing.
Seriously, I still can't understand where you put it.
Anyways, you once more created an orange hexagonal pattern surrounding your feet with three claps. A magic circle on the ground, pretty much. You clapped twice. The shape then began to spin rapidly, before lifting up with you disappearing behind it. And then, with a blink it vanished as well. No trace left behind.
...
Now uh...you clearly have some plans brewing.
...
Yup.
How do I explain this? I'm looking at my script, and for this part it just says...
Montage Moment.mp3
...
I am at a lost for words.
I guess I shouldn't question it though, considering I could be erased from existence should I not continue narrating this.
...
Oh wait...this is the end of the chapter? Oh. That's..cool. That's totally fine. I guess the next one will be bigger.
...
Yeah..
