Beep. Beep. Beep.
You slowly opened your eyes, sitting up.
Well, I guess I was wrong. You aren't dead.
You were in a pretty large room in a medical ward. You looked towards the far off window. It was day, and you were in Vale it seems, judging from the fact you could see Beacon Academy off in the distance.
Your body felt extremely sluggish, slow, weak.
Suddenly, the door opened. A nurse walked in, holding a clipboard.
"Excuse me, sir? Are you doing well?" She asked carefully.
"I'm... I think i'm fine enough. How long have I been out for?"
"About three months, sir."
Your eyes widened slightly from that information. Three entire months? You were definitely surprised from this.
"Wait, aren't you the hero who beat that monster?"
You lightly laughed, rubbing the back of your head in slightly embarrassment. You definitely weren't used to being called a hero.
"R-Right, you are probably still trying to get accustomed to being awake again. I'll leave you to it!" And with that, she left with the door closed behind her.
You were alone again. So, you lied back down.
You simply laid there, for quite a while.
"I guess the end is coming soon, isn't it?" You sighed to yourself as you drifted off into daydreams.
Eventually, the door opened again. You weren't sure how much time passed since you began dreaming. Either way, you sat back up.
The same nurse from the first time walked in, seemingly quite flustered in some way.
"Uh, sir! You have visitors!" She said.
"Oh. Please, let them come in," you told her. She nodded and quickly walked back out. You were slightly confused why she was in such a hurry,
Only to realize the second they all entered.
Team RWBY, JNPR, Ozpin, James, Winter, Qrow, Tai, Raven, Roman, Neo, Cinder, Emerald and Mercury.
Luckily, the room was big enough to house all of them.
"Y/N!" Yang began, running over and hugging you. Thankfully, it wasn't too rough to stop your breathing. Though that might be from the fact she was only able to hug your head from the position and height you were at. You felt that familiar comfort in her embrace.
