You opened your eyes to a familiar void. You sighed, taking a second to recollect your thoughts. Then, you realized, "Oh shoot! The crystal!"
"No need. Only that first creation would've dropped one. The other two won't give anything important on their deaths," The Moon said. You exhaled, that weight being lifted from your shoulders. "You should take a break."
"I'm pretty sure i'll have a break while they search for the next creature—"
"That won't be necessary. The last experiment will be waking up on its own. And quite soon, I must add. So please, take a break. After all, once that last one is dealt with..."
"It will be time," you finished his sentence. You both went silent for a bit.
"I'm sorry," he apologized.
"I know. It wasn't your choice after all."
"Yes. None of us can go against the wishes of number one unfortunately," he said.
"So i'm just supposed to accept it all and just... wait?"
You could see the pity in his eyes.

The incident had been wrapped up as nice as it could have been... if it hadn't been for media. But, you didn't care all that much for it. Once everything had been settled, you had been recovered, and since you had already revealed your ability to teleport, you simply warped you and team RWBY back to Beacon academy. Of course, you made sure to tell Ozpin of your return. And thus, you went back to school life. There was surprisingly a good amount of time left until the festival.
However, you had other things on your mind these past few days. That was why you were sitting down on one of the bottom beds in team RWBY's dorm. You looked to your mask, which was situated on the nightstand/shelf—or whatever—between the beds. You hadn't been able to pay attention in classes, nor have you been able to really relax at night. The clock was ticking after all, and time didn't wait for everyone. Unfortunately, this was no fairy tale. You were no hero. Happy endings don't come for all. And you knew that well.
If only you were stronger. If only...
If only.
The click of the door was heard, but you didn't look at it. Someone walked in, and closed the door behind them. "Y/N?" It was Yang.
I sort of saw that coming to be honest.
You looked to her, and said your greeting. But she noticed well your mood these past few days. It concerned her. So, she walked over and sat down next to you. "You've been... a lot less like yourself lately. Is there something wrong?" She asked you, though she kind of already knew the answer. You confirm her suspicion with a nod. However, you did no further to tell her of what it was. She sighed, patting your head softly. You were slightly comforted by her presence, but were still ultimately down in mood. However, a devious smirk formed on her lips as she gained an idea. A very... interesting idea.
Okay, hang on. Do I actually have to narrate this part? Can I just like, do a timeskip or something?
No? Well fuck. You know what, i'll just make it a separate chapter, that way people can just skip it if they want. Loopholes, am I right lads?
