I had just finished unpacking my, cup full of pens, markers, pencils, colored pencils, and erasers, papers, pictures of me, mom, and dad, and pictures with me and my friends, and a little stuffed bear on my desk. Then I placed some stuffed animals I had packed on my bed, I then began to put my clothes, shoes, boots, and heels into my closet. "Finally" I whispered, to myself, I looked at the clock and it was now 9:18 and I had woken up around 8:30. I sat back down on my bed and laid down, "Well Y/N this is it Tulsa Oaklahoma is now going to be your new home." I thought to myself, "Look at how big you've gotten." I heard a voice say, I gor up to see my mom leaning in the door way and my dad next to her placing his hand on her shoulder. "I remember it like it was yesterday when we would play dress up." My mom said, walking towards me and sitting on the edge of my bed, I scooted to the edge of the bed as I placed my head on her shoulder. "You mean when Y/N used to do my "makeup" and force me to wear your heels?" My dad said, looking at my mom with a worried look. I giggled and thought of me smearing mom's dark red lipstick all over dad's lips and putting her purple eyeshadow on him. "We're proud of you kiddo for handling this so well." Dad said, walking over to me and sitting on the other side of me and mom and ruffling up my hair. "Thanks" I said, smiling. "Now let's let Y/N relax, she already unpacked and we didn't even start yet hon." Mom said, to dad getting up off the bed as dad followed her turning around when he reached the door and giving me a smile before leaving. I layer back down closing my eyes hugging one of my stuffed animals.
"Promise me you'll come back whenever you can?" Katie asked, sniffling, "I promise." I told her, wiping away my tears holding her close. "I'm gonna miss you Katie" I said, as my voice trembled "I'll miss you more Y/N )." She said holding me tighter as we both then pulled away. I was heartbroken it was only Thursday after school and I had to tell my best friend in the whole world, that I was moving away.

Tears started falling down my face as I wiped them off. I was gonna miss Katie, things weren't the same without her and never were gonna be I thought to myself. Until later that night I would meet a certain girl who would soon be someone I could call my new bestfriend.
