Chapter 35. Escape From Pirate Cave

Goku: I finally found you guys!

The whole cave started shaking, rocks were falling from everywhere. It was almost like the whole place was gonna cave in.

Goku: Whoa....

Haru: This whole place is about to fall apart!

Bulma: Oh no...!

Krillin: Let's get outta here! This place is falling apart!

As the entire place continued shaking, the big statue that had ten arms started to break down, cracks forming all over it until it shattered into pieces.

Ruby, diamond, gold, emerald, all sorts of jewelry started falling down from within the statue as it broke down, leaving all of them speechless.

Goku: Ooh...

They all watched in amazement of what they just discovered, apart from Bulma who didn't just want to watch. She wanted a piece of the jewelry for herself and she took off trying to get any of the jewelry she can.

But unfortunately for her, the ground broke in two and she fell in the hole, making the others worried. She luckily grabbed onto the edge right before she fell into the hole in between the ground.

Haru, Goku, & Krillin: Bulma!

All three rushed towards her and saw her grunting holding onto the edge and trying to pull herself up.

Goku: It's a good thing you know how to climb.

Haru: And this is exactly why I tell you guys to be careful.

Krillin: We thought you were a goner for sure!

Bulma: I would've been if I waited for you three to help!

She anhrily yelled at them as she pulled herself back up, thankfully avoiding any harmful or deadly injuries.

Krillin: Check it out guys! I can't believe we did it! We found the treasure! It's all ours!

Haru: Greed makes people blind and foolish, and makes them an easy prey. We should value our lives more than a treasure!

Bulma: Yeah, What good is a treasure if we're not around to enjoy it? Let's go!

Haru, Krillin, and Bulma took off running to the pool of water they surfaced from until Goku's voice stopped them.

Goku: What about the Dragon Ball?

Bulma: Like I said before it's at the bottom of the pool! But there's no time to get it now! Come on!

Goku didn't respond and just stood there and that left Bulma impatient.

Bulma: Goku! Come on!

Goku: You guys go ahead. I'll catch up. I have to go after the Dragon Ball. It might be my Grandpa's.

Bulma: No! Goku, wait!

Goku ignored her and jumped in the pool leaving Krillin dumbfounded.

Krillin: I don't believe it! Haru, why didn't you stop him!

Hatu: When Goku sets his mind on something I'm afraid even I can't stop him.

Bulma: There's nothing we can do! Come on, we'll meet him outside!

Haru: Right, we just have to believe in him. There's nothing else we can do but have faith he'll make it.

All three jumped in the pool after Goku, but they went the other way, trying to get to the well they got in from when they escaped the dangerous robot.
