A red car flew over a small crowded town, which was located next to a waterfall. The car ascended down towards ground level.
Bulma: Are you sure this is the place? It's a small town.
Haru: Yeah, we're here.
The two got out of the car before Bulma shrunk it.
Bulma: I don't get how a hunting competition is held here.
Haru: It isn't. This is where the registration is held.
Bulma: Oh. That makes much more sense. So what do you usually hunt? Assuming this isn't your first time.
She asked, before they started heading towards a crowded area.
Haru: Oh nothing big. Just wild creatures. Rare creatures, edible creatures. As long as it's not easy to catch it's on the list.
Bulma: On the list?
Haru: Yeah~ I've captured a fare few.
Bulma: A fare few? By your standards I'd say you're probably talking about lions & tigers.
Haru: Yeah. What else would I hunt?
He asked her, leaving her dumbfounded.
Bulma: I guess it's do-able if you use guns~~
Haru: No, I don't use such tools. It hurts the animals.
Bulma: Oh…
Haru: I once captured a dinosaur, but it snuck by me later that same night.
He recalled the last time he competed two years ago and just laughed it off.
The two made their way towards a table and found an elderly woman handing out flyers to a bunch of people.
Old woman: Are you two signing up for the competition?
Bulma: No, it's just him.
The old woman grabbed a flyer and hesitated to give it to Haru.
Old woman: Aren't you a little too young to take part?
Haru: This isn't my first time, granny. I'll be just fine.
Old woman: If you say so.
She handed him the flyer that showcased three creatures.
Old woman: This year's competition is far stretched. You have three options to choose from. Hunt on land! Hunt in the sky! Or hunt underwater!
Hearing that, both Haru & Bulma's eyebrows rose.
Bulma: In the sky? Underwater?! How are those even supposed to work??
The old woman shrugged her shoulders, getting a disappointed smile out of Bulma.
Old woman: I'm not a hunter dear. I haven't the slightest clue.
Haru stared at the flyer trying to figure out which route he was going to take.
Haru: I’ve already done the land. Can't do sky hunting… so that leaves me with…
Bulma: You're seriously not considering going underwater are you?
Haru: Why not? It will be a great way to push past my limits.
Bulma: Are you crazy?! Did you forget what happened the last time we went on an adventure underwater?
She asked, reminding him of their near death experience, giving him a disappointed look.
Haru: How will I grow as a person if I do not challenge myself?
Bulma: What growth is there to do if you die? Seriously Haru, are you insane?
