When we last left the Dragon Ball gang. Haru said his goodbyes to Goku and Bulma and ventured off alone across the land. He sought to improve his skill and was back in the mountains were he called, home.
The morning sun beamed through the forest and Haru who had a spear on his back tied around a rope was swimming in a river above a waterfall.
As he was swimming a large fish swam after him trying to get to him before he jumped of the waterfall.
But what the poor fish didn't anticipate was Haru who instead of following the current of the river, brought out his spear and instead of falling down the river, he pinned the spear on the side of the river keeping himself pinned right on edge of the waterfall.
The fish narrowed its eyes in shock before Haru who's smile grew grabbed it by the caudal fin and brought himself out of the river along with it.
He preppelled his body upward while still holding onto the fish. He let go of the spear before he jumped out of the river.
Since it was early morning he went for a swim and was now heading back carrying a large fish on his shoulders wearing nothing but pants.
Didn't take him long before he got back to the village where an old man seemed to have been waiting for him, standing at the entrance of the village.
Old man: Well, seems like you've improved. You're back quicker than I anticipated, Haru!
Haru: Haha, what can i say? I learned from the best!
Old man: That, I cannot deny. Hahaha!
Haru let out a small laugh before he dropped the fish in a large pot that laid on the side next to the old man.
Haru: I hope that's enough for the village's people. I could add a few more, maybe a couple of vegetables??!
Old man: No, this is enough my boy. There is no need for another pile. Ever since you returned things have been going a lot smoother!
Haru: I'm happy to help, Master.
Hearing him call him "Master" made the old man sigh and shake his head in disapproval.
Woman: Haru? You're back already?!
A woman called out who was struggling to push a heavy cart down the road. In this heat, you couldn't blame her.
Haru: Yeah, just got back actually.
Woman: It's good to see you again.
Haru wasted no time and went to her taking the handler of the cart off of hsr hands.
Haru: Please, let me.
Woman: Oh, you don't have to, dear.
Haru: No, I'd love to help out whenever I can. So, where to?
As he asked, she wiped the sweat off her forehead and a smile formed on her lips.
Woman: Just down to the side. It's almost time to open up my store.
Haru: Alright, feel at ease and leave it to me!
The woman nodded and followed him as he took over for her and pushed the heavy cart for her.
Farmer: Hey, Haru! The sun's pretty hot today, mind giving me a hand.
A man who was watering his plants called out to him as soon as he spotted him pushing the cart down the road.
Haru: Not a problem. I'll be there as soon as I can, sir!
Old man: That kid. He never learns!
The old man watched as a heavy sigh escaped his mouth and he walked away leaving him be.
