gamma drakes pov:
"Gamma, come to my office now!" The alpha mind-linked me. Shit. He doesn't sound to pleased.
I've successfully avoided Lily these past months. Not that she's tried to speak or find me. Mostly she stays in her room. My wolf fang has been clawing at me and attempting to take over every chance he got. Smelling his mate constantly, but not being aloud out to go to her is driving him crazy.
I knocked on his door, standing tall and straight. "Enter." My alpha said.
"What can I do for you alpha?"
He looked at me with a hard glare.
"Reject my sister and allow her to move on. You clearly do not care for her!"
A small growl came from my throat. Not from fang. But me. I cleared my throat surprised by my possessive feelings when I have pushed her away. Rejecting her has crossed my mind but I never thought of it too much.
Thinking of rejection meant thinking of her and thinking of her meant my wolf would try and come out. I haven't let him out once. Not even for a run.
"Gamma!" Alpha Aegon slammed his hand on his desk. "You are a strong gamma and I respect you as my third in command and a friend, but I am willing to loose the friendship for my sister. Fix it!" He commanded.
Looking into my alphas eyes I bowed my head. "Alpha. I will fix it. You know having a mate has never been what I wanted. But the thought of rejecting her is something I can't live with." Fang wagged his tail at my words.
"Lily does not deserve a mate like me. I have been untrue. All know this. I did not go after her that night and have avoided her since. How am I to fix this?" I asked him.
Alpha aegon stared right back into my eyes. Sighing he said, " drake. We have practically grown up together though you are younger then me. I trust you to do the right thing. My sister is smart but also hard headed. If you are true to what your telling me then you have a long road ahead of you."
"You are in charge of guard duty tonight, I suggest using the time to think of how to fix this." He told me.
I Bowed my head to my alpha and headed to command guard duty.
