CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE

Royal beta Jax pov:

Katrina informed us that the Princess rose had mind linked her and would be returning with in The day.

"Beta Jax, please head to the boarders gates and wait for my sister to arrive." The alpha ordered.

"Yes alpha, right away." Kissing my mate before heading out the door. An hour into my wait the princesses car came rounding the corner. Her guards cars in front and behind her.

The cars parked and out stepped the Princess. "Rose! We are so happy you are home. How was your search?" I asked her.

Rose looked down slightly frowning, then brought her head back up with a smile.
"Unfortunately uneventful. But I'm happy to be home. Where is my sister?"

Now it's my turn to look away. "Ummm well Princess, she hasn't come out of her room much since you left. It's rumored she has found her mate." I said slowly.

"That should be good news. Yes? Why stay in her room?"

"I think it's best you speak to your sister Princess. We don't know this to be true. Just a rumor that the king alpha will not respond too." Princess rose thanked me and got back in her car to head up to the pack house.

It being my turn for guard duty, I stayed out. And began checking in with the Royal guards.

King alpha Aegon pov:

"Sister! You are home!! How was your search?"  "No luck my brother." She stopped walking and narrowed her eyes at me.

"Why is Lily locking her self in her room? Why do people rumor she has a mate, yet she's not out and about. Happy?"

"Straight to business huh?"I coughed out.

"Go talk to our sister. She has missed yo..." I stopped mid sentence. Sniffing the air. I smelt caramel and hazelnut. Not a strong scent but it was there.

"What are you doing Aegon?" Rose asked. I came closer and sniffed her.

"Where we're you last? You have a faint smell of Carmel and hazelnuts.." she looked at me a bit wide eyed, sniffing the air. "I don't smell anything Aegon. I was at the blood moon pack. And Trevor was there."

I snapped out of my thoughts. "Trevor? Was he ok. That pack is barbaric and cruel." Trevor was a good pack member and almost done training to become a pack warrior. Rose told me he looked a bit pail with a few bruises. She also spoke of his message for his family.

"I'm going to find Lily." Rose said. She hugged me and walked off to lily's room.

I stood thinking of Trevor. He was a smart kid but the alpha of blood moon was a cruel and unforgiving man. The way he lives is not right and hopefully I can change this way of living during my time as alpha. I pray that Trevor can find a way out.

Ending the thought, I headed to the kitchen to see the plan for dinner. With rose home, I'd like it to be special.

"Brianna, for dinner tonight could you make roses favorite? She has returned home."
The omega smiled and bowed. "Of course alpha."

Brianna has been with the Royal pack since before I was born. She is like a second mother to all the pups in the pack. And most adults.
"Thank you Brianna. We'd be lost with out you."

Smiling again she began writing in her tasks book for the other omegas. Brianna pretty much runs the kitchen and hands out tasks and information down to other omegas.

"Dinner will be done at 7 alpha."

Thanking her I headed to my room to shower and relax before dinner.
