CHAPTER FOURTY-SIX

Amelia continued to lay on the hospital bed with a oxygen mask over her mouth and nose. The dr had a stern look on her face as she focused.

"Ok. Are you ready alpha. Baby A is coming." As soon as she said this a baby girl was pulled from my mates belly. small cry's coming from her mouth. A nurse quickly Grabbed her and began cleaning her up and checking her vitals and weight.

"Baby B, her she comes!! The dr said loudly. It's happening so fast. I feel nauseous. But excited at the same time.

Again the dr pulled out a baby girl, crying and whimpering. A different nurse grabbed her and began the same process of cleaning her.

"Alright Amelia. This is it. Baby C". The dr gently pulled out the baby girl. She began crying and whimpering like her siblings. A nurse took her and cleaned her. "Amelia. My mate. You did wonderful. The pups are beautiful and appear to be healthy." A small smile came to her lips.

"Let's get you clea.....what's this?" The dr said looking surprised. She reached down and pulled out another pup! 

"Well!  Alpha, Luna. It appears a pup slipped through my ultra sounds!" She said shocked. Holding up one more baby girl. Much smaller then her siblings but still alive and beautiful. Amelia reached for her mask, "four! Four pups she said?" Groggy and half awake from the anesthesia.

"Yes my mate. Four pups, not three. One must have been hidden behind another?" I said baffled.

The dr and nurses cleaned and stitched up Amelia while I watched over the pups in their incubators. Wolf babies are much strong then human babies but still. Being born early and with a fourth pup hidden in Amelia's belly, they needed to be cared for like early term babes. Special the smallest girl. Once all four pups were placed near each other, they subsided their cries.

Ghost was immediately protective over them from the moment they were born. With being so caught up with making sure Amelia and the pups were safe, I forgot about the time. Looking at my watch it read, 10:43 pm.

"It's time!" I said through my link. The only ones that new of alpha chads plans were trevor, my two right hand men and my self. I did not want to trouble my parents or siblings with something I know damn well I can handle. These are my pups now. This is my mate I told myself! 

"Mother, father. Please come and assist Amelia with the pups. I have something urgent that can not wait!"  I linked them. my parents agreedto be there in about 15 minutes. I turned to Amelia and bent down, kissing her forehead.

"I'll be back my mate. The pups are fine and my parents are on their way."

Amelia looked almost to be asleep.
"She will be fine alpha But the pups are Going to need to stay in the hospital for a bit to be monitored. They were born 3 months early." The dr said gently.  Nodding my head, I look at her and to the pups one more time, ghost whining. Not wanting to leave them.

"I'll be back soon." I said Shutting the room door and heading out of the hospital.
