CHAPTER FIFTY-ONE

Princess roses pov:

The night came and went. He never came. He never left his room. My wolf whined through out the night. Unable to sleep, I went down stairs at about 6:45 am. Opening the kitchen door, I found my brother aegon.

He looked worse then I did.

"Brother? Rough night?" I asked him. Leaning on the door frame. He looked up to me tired and limping to the counter.

"Aegon! What has happened? Are you ok?"

"Yes rose. I will be fine. The pups were born last night. 4 total. On top of that Trevor's mate attempted to sneak onto the grounds, kill him and take my mate."

My mouth was open. "Is Amelia ok? What happened to Trevor's mate?

He explained how he broke his neck and how Trevor carried him away and buried him. My wolf whimpered. "How could he care for such a cruel wolf?" She asked me. Sadly I tried to hide my emotions From my distracted brother.

"Congrats on the pups aegon. You will be an amazing father." I said in a fake happy tone. My brother stopped what he is doing and looked at me, walked over and gave me a hug.

"Thank you rose. I have my hands full but this is a life challenge I am more then willing to except." Smiling at me he kissed my forehead and continued on with cooking his mate breakfast.

I left the kitchen. No longer having an appetite.  "Let's go for a run. Yea?" I asked Jamie.

She whimpered but did not answer. Not wanting to come out or take control was not something I'm used to with her.

"Ok Jamie. I understand. Maybe we should go away for a bit. Huh? Go visit family across seas." 

"Ok rose. Whatever sounds best."'she said whimpering and closing the link.

I hate seeing her sad. But if I'm being honest, I am just as sad as she is. Heading back up stairs and to my room so I can pack a bag and leave. Maybe I'll get there in time to enroll for the rest of the school year I thought.

I packed my bag quickly. Only grabbing a few clothes to make it to my cousins family's home. I'll message my parents and siblings later, not wanting to worry them after the pups had just been born.

"We should get going" I told my wolf. she did not respond. Walking down the stairs, said goodbye to my parents and asked them to tell Lily that I would call her since she was sleeping.

I quietly opened the front door and headed for my car.

"Good by for now my family." I said softly. then got in my car and began driving down the front drive way.

No tears to shed. "We will come back during summer." I told my wolf.

Trevor's pov:

I woke up at 7:35 am. Starring at the clock, trying to get my foggy brain in order. Going through my memory's of last night rose came To the front of it all.

"Shit! Rose!" I yelled out. 

Flinging my self from my bed. I never meant to fall asleep! She must think I am rejecting her! I ran out of my room. "Rose!" I yelled while I ran up the stairs.

I burst into her room. "Rose! I'm so sorry!  Rose?" She was not in her room.

I quickly made my way to the kitchen. No rose. Her scent was all over the castle, but not a strong lead to it.  I opened the front door and looked around the yard. "Rose, please!" I begged to know one.

"I dont see her car." Shadow said to me. He's right. Her cars gone. Maybe she went out? My mind link! It's back. After Chad died, it was restored back to the royals pack since I never rejected them.

"Rose, please. Where are you? I need to speak to you in person." Nothing. No response from her. Shit.

"What's wrong trevor?" The former Luna spoke as she walked down the stairs.

"Luna!  Have you seen rose?!" I quickly asked her. She slightly smiled while looking down.

"Trevor. I'm sorry. Rose left this morning." The Luna said.

She told me how she headed out in her car to visit family. "She told me about you being her second chance mate." The Luna said while walking towards me.

"Trevor. You are a good wolf. A good man. My rose deserves a strong mate to make her happy in life." Smiling and giving me a slight hug, she turned to walk away.

"And ya know, I've seen just how fast shadow can run."  She then rounded the corner and was gone. At first I was slightly confused. Why would she bring up my wolfs speed.

"You really are stupid Trevor." My wolf said in a duh tone. Then realization hit me. And I smiled. "Shadow, run." Take over and find her! I told my wolf.

Shadow howled out and took over, shredding my clothes and speeding down the drive way in full speed.
