CHAPTER TWENTY-FOUR

Princess Rose pov:

3 1/2 months I've been searching with my royal guards. And for 3 1/2 months I have found no signs of my mate. Maybe he lives in another state? Depressed and mentally exhausted, I was ready to go home. I missed my family.

I missed My sister.

The last stop on my list before returning home was the blood moon pack. I prayed to the moon goddess he was not in this pack. But I needed to know. Determined I sent one of my guards ahead to announce my arrival and why I was coming.

I've had my mind link closed for the past month, not wanting my family to know I have yet to find him. Turning it back on I mindlink the betas mate. " Katrina, it's rose. Im sorry if I made everyone nervous. Please tell my family I have one more stop to make and then im coming home. I miss you all."

Katrina answered me immediately. "Princess!! We have all missed you so much. I will inform the alpha of your return. Hopefully you found your mate."

I closed the link. I have not.

My wolf Jamie, started out excited, but the longer we searched with no mate to be found, the more she hid away. A mate bond is stronger for our wolfs. It effects them more then the human side.

"Princess, we are here." My driver said pulling up to a large gate. "Thank you J." Sighing I waited till he stopped the car at the front doors and exited.

Please don't be in this pack. I pleaded to the moon goddess.

Trevor's pov:

He left the door open. I've been here months. Locked in this shit room! I hate it here. I need to make it out of here, back to my pack.
All I need to do is get out of the house. The rest can be figured out as I go.  My wolf stirred for the first time since being forcibly marked. "What's wrong axle?"

A protective growl escaped his lips. Sniffing the air...could it be. Princess rose!

"Trevor!" alpha Chad came into the room calling my name. "Come mate. We have a royal visitor and my wolf wants to show off his trophy that he took from the royals castle."

Getting up quickly I rushed past him and down the stairs. Where am I going? I haven't been anywhere but that fucking room. I sniffed the hallway, Allowing my nose to lead the way.

Finding the front door I opened it. Getting ready to walk outside, A threatening growl was coming from behind me. 

"Remember, you step outside and it will become a lot more graphic around here."
My mate said to me.

" that's Putting it nicely." I Said while stopping and waiting for her to come to the door. The first smile I've found since forcefully coming to this hell hole.

Rose exited her car, looked up and smiled wide. "Trevor?!" She came walking quickly to me. "Your actually here! I heard rumors but I try hard not to listen to them."

Reaching out to hug me, another growl is released from behind.

"Princess Rose, I see you know my mate!"alpha Chad said pulling me to his side.

"Congratulations alpha Chad, Trevor." She said with a small smile.

Her eyes did not meet her happy words. She knew this pack lived by the old ways. She feared for me. thinking back to the Royal pack I suppose I was rather protective of her and lily.

"Please Princess. I know you have come looking for your mate. Let's not waste your time, My pack house is large but is yours to freely roam. Good luck." Alpha Chad said in a nasty tone.

Looking at me with sympathy, she made her way inside with her guards. I watched her as she walked down the hall till she turned the corner and was no longer in sight.
